If they don't suspend Cohen, then they better not let him walk the Scarlet Walk because odds are it will get ugly.

Dale Berra/Son of Yogi said:
I know the father well, he's old school and was a tremendous athlete...no way he supports his son, if he's just mad about playing time. If my kid was ostracized, ignored and not invited to meetings, I'd be in the coach's face.

I 99% believe this is legit now.

Tyree's Dad was an All American at RU playing LAX.

I believe a big part of Tyree getting fed up was Ruhann Peele passing him on the depth chart after practicing with the DBs for less than a week. When he got passed over by a WR who barely played DB in HS, he gave up.

Ayup, I mean Peele was more likely better ... but you don't fucking ostracize the guy like they supposedly did.

Especially if you wear F.A.M.I.L.Y on your jersey.

I agree, you don't kick a current player out of team meetings for no reason.

I don't believe Hermann purposely ignored his parents though.

I wonder if this is why the Town Hall Meeting was canceled last night.

Flood always came off as a nice guy, who just always seemed overmatched. If he allowed this to go on the entire time, well then shame on him.

Then again I don't know how bad Cohen could be since Schiano was the epitome of a bully coach.

Flood came to RU, inherited a OL recruited by previous coaches, had instant results with other coaches players, when it was his turn to recruit his own players he missed on 90% of them. Oversaw some of the worst OLs I ever saw on the Banks. Then by process of elimination he backs into a BCS HC job by default.

I do know that Flood did interview at a few schools as a HC previously (USF, Temple, Tulane).

If I'm Rutgers, I'm calling up Tampa and pretty much asking what Robb Smith/Hafley/Angelicho are making and nearly double it to bring them back here.

Lack of institutional control. Wonder how many more scandals rutgers can produce.

On a serious note, there's a pretty big missing piece...why did the coach get in his face in the first place? Seems pretty extreme to go to study hall to do it

Florida State Attorney kinda accuses the Tallahassee police of a cover up

The state attorney overseeing the ongoing investigation of a sexual assault complaint connected to star FSU quarterback Jameis Winston calls the case a “cluster” -- one that did not follow normal protocol.

William Meggs with the Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee said he's surprised he didn't learn about the case in December 2012, when the complaint was filed with the Tallahassee Police Department.

“Our office would have been informed about this as soon as it occurred,” Meggs said. “We first learned about it at 10:02 a.m. on Wednesday…I don't know if that's alarming, but it's a fact in the case. We can't question motives. What the police department has done is clammed up.”

Meggs believes the case came to his desk in part because of media requests this week to the Tallahassee Police Department seeking information on the case.

CBSSports.com left a message with TPD spokesman David Northway early Friday evening and with Tom Jansen, Winston's lawyer, on Thursday.

Jansen has told other media outlets that police contacted him in February but that the case was dropped. Jansen told Fox Sports that he's supplied the state attorney's office with two witness affidavits providing “exculpatory” – or favorable to a suspect – information. Meggs confirms he's received the two affidavits.

Meggs said Jansen has a copy of the entire police report, which he considers “not good.”

The Second Judicial Circuit has assigned two investigators to the case. Winston is not expected to talk with investigators.

The police report is heavily redacted and does not identify Winston. The victim described the alleged attacker as between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 and 240 pounds. Winston is listed at 6-foot-4 and 228 pounds.

The case has several witnesses, Meggs said, including medical and lab officers that conducted a medical investigation on the victim as standard protocol.

“Our job is to protect the rights of the victim and the rights of the defendant,” Meggs said. “We will try to do both of those things and seek and achieve a fair result.”

FSU issued a statement Wednesday acknowledging a TPD investigation, but the school declines comment because the case is not closed. FSU is hoping for a “speedy resolution” of the issue. Winston is still in the lineup entering Saturday's game with Syracuse.

The undefeated Seminoles, ranked No. 2 in the country, have flourished behind the play of Winston, a Heisman Trophy candidate with 2,661 passing yards and 26 touchdowns.

given that this wouldn't be the first time they have acted like they arent going to change up the uniforms and then secretly did, I wouldn't be surprised

a lot better then our "white out" helmets last year

Too nice to be adidas. It's really hard to mess up the black and red color scheme though

I kind of want to change my Rutgers/Cincinnati pick due to this story but on the other hand I know this story is only new to us and not new to the team itself.

So I went out tonight(I live in Knoxville) with my Ohio State hoodie on.

This
SECSECSEC
guy walked up to me and said "now really, who has OSU beat this year"??

And I said "well Wisconsin is pretty good this year".

He replied with "Fuck no Wisconsin is shit, Michigan is the only good team they will face, their always tough".

I was gonna argue a little with him until he said the Michigan line, I just stopped talking to him.

Rutgers released official statement. Hermann handled it well. I still think Cohen's a disaster and needs to go asap.

Did UCLA get bored of winning? They clearly don't care about covering Stringfellow.
