I love how people ignore 8-4 Iowa and 7-5 Penn State like they aren't solid football teams. Ohio State's schedule is on par, if not better than Florida State's. Why are people ignoring it so blatantly?

Why are you so blatantly ignoring the fact that the Miami and Clemson wins - especially the Clemson win - trumps every win OSU'S had this season?

So now that they can't give the Heisman to McCarron anymore as a career achievement....

Johnny hoists the trophy for a second straight year? No way the pompous voters allow this...

Shit, shit, shit. Massive loss for USC. Martin is a critical part of the O-line working, even as shaky as it is. Huge break for the bRuins. Worst possible oline injury we could have.

Still not addressing Clemson

The same Clemson that is blowing it against their second decent opponent all season? South Carolina isn't even that good. (Edit: Oh yeah, Clemson also beat a healthy Georgia in the season opener, so that is one good win for them)

To be fair though I agree, FSU has looked better than OSU. More dominant in their wins over crappy teams.

Congrats, one of Ohio State's best wins came over a team that lost to Northern Illinois.

Iowa is ohio state's fourth or fifth best win when all is said and done...and they are 8-4.

What is Florida State's fourth or fifth best win? Has FSU even beat 4 teams with a winning record this year?

Auburn lost to LSU.

LSU...a team that struggled early in the year against a TCU team with a losing record, and then struggled yesterday vs. an Arkansas team with a losing record.

Thank god Auburn has no chance of jumping us because that would be a travesty.

Dude, keep dreaming. OSU will get exposed next week vs MSU, let alone a top SEC team.

Anyone who thinks that is an idiot. FSU is better than every other team in the country this year by a mile. No one has even sniffed as good a year. We'd beat Auburn by 14 at a minimum.

Even in a worst case scenario with Maguire starting, we will still be a 10+ pt favorite over any other team at this point IMO.

Not saying Ohio State's anywhere near as good as they were going into January 2002, but this is sounding a lot like January 2002.

8-4 in the Big whatever is a little different though (not saying the ACC is that much better, but some conferences are :p)

Gonna be flags flying as much as footballs. Stricherz loves to hear himself talk.

Not quite. Key veteran center vs freshman tackle... I'll take the center.

you're probably right but UCLA's O-line was already suffering so it could have just as big of an impact.

LOL another one.

Their only good win is over a Missouri team that played like crap for an entire game, and they still had to rely on a 4th quarter comeback by bringing in their injured starting QB. A more legit team would have beaten Mizzou decisively in that game.

And they lost to Tennessee.

To be fair though there aren't many teams that actually seem really good this year. Down year for about everyone.
