Rumor has it a Georgia Southern player got hurt during their game against each other and the App State fans stood up and cheered him being hurt. Classless if true.

These rumors never turn out to be true.

Unless it's Oregon fans.

He's been iffy for a while now, so I'm not too surprised.

That said, Lane really needs to get rid of Monte, and fast. Kids aren't going to want to play for a relic. Unless Lane is hoping that recruits aren't gonna think too hard when he says, "If you come play defense for us you'll be a part of record-setting performances!"

The country's No. 37 player overall and No. 2 athlete will take an official visit to Washington on Nov. 9 and likely will schedule an official visit to Oregon as well. Redfield attended USC's home game against Oregon on Saturday, but this decision is something that has been gaining momentum since the Notre Dame visit in early October.

Work your magic, Tosh...

What happened to monte? His d at UT was pretty awesome although he did have an amazing talent that could do everything.

Edit: except against dexter mccluster. That dude fucked us up

Got tickets for Saturday vs. Utah. Final home game at the CLink before we return to the new Husky Stadium next season. They'll be doing things for Senior Night, honoring UW's 2012 Olympians, and Veteran's Day. Should be an eventful night, hopefully the CLink can continue to work its magic.

Meh, in retrospect losing Tosh wasn't a huge deal, given Tedford's gonna be out at the end of the season.

I hope the new coach retains Ron Gould.

Unless the program goes completely into the tank, you guys should always be able to recruit pretty well based on location and NFL alums alone.

He doesn't seem to under stand this zone read magic that everyone is running on us. Hence why we lost to Arizona and Oregon and why ASU and ucla have excellent shots against us as well.

He keeps trying to run the Tampa 2 against option running teams and its just not working. Our players get caught out in space and can't make open field tackles.

On one hand, 99.99999999% of anything found on fansites is utter bullshit and wankery.

On the other hand, I don't think I would ever stop laughing if Cal hired Tyrone.

I just checked the line on the Utah@Washington game, and Vegas has Washington as a 1.5 point underdog! What gives? Do we have some serious injuries, or is it just our craptacular play in the Cal game last week?

Utah-ans live close enough to Vegas to make a betting difference????

Who do you want?

Dunno, really. Would've loved Leach or RichRod, but we're a year too late. Doubt the admin would've gone for Leach anyway. Petrino is out for the same reason.

We're obviously not going to attract any of the big names. Sonny Dykes would be nice, but I have to imagine he'll get better offers.

Guessing we'll end up picking up an OC from somewhere out west.

Could you get a Stanford coordinator? I know you hate them and all, but they know the region and recruit well.

How about The Vest? You probably aren't going bowling for a while anyway, you can wait out sanctions.

I actually got the beta invite after a couple months of signing up for it. Think it's even installed.

Never loaded it up.

I also need to load back in on Planetside2, been a couple weeks.

Barack Obama just said on Sports Center ( probably a recording at this hour ) that he wants to see the college football playoffs move to 8 teams. I agree with the President.

By 27? I'm not even sure we can win, let alone by that much.

Took me a sec to find the key to the map. I understood what the red and blue were going to be, but the black (which is "who do you pull for" in terms of in state universities)

Lol California, USC is 4th? Behind Cal, Stanford and UCLA?

The biggest surprise for me was seeing the Black Bears significantly behind both Mississippi State and Southern Miss.
