College Football Week 13 - Sparty ain't worried 'bout no clock

Looks like the line moved from Texas by 2 to Texas Tech by 1.

Feels like on average we should win reasonably handily, but I think Texas is even more up and down than we are this season so who knows, we could lose by 30.

Both have shut defences but tech offence can score.

My money, literally, is on tech to win.

My dad stopped donating the last two years under Flood. That's roughly 30k he's held onto.

$15k a year on donations? You guys don't get taxed enough...

Sometimes donations to universities can reduce your tax burden, even if that "donation" is required to buy sporting event tickets.

yeah just looked, the tax rates aren't too dissimilar.

However, we wouldn't get a tax deduction for donating to a university.

Where are all these top tier programs expecting to find their next coach? So many seem to want a proven coach, but outside of poaching Jimbo or luring Kelly back to college, who are these 'proven' coaches that don't already have a decent job?
Blah blah blah facts etc

FSU is a decent job. :(

A top coach doesn't necessarily have to have been head coach before.

There will be some highly rated OC and DCs and Assistants who will be taking a step up.
Doesn't necessarily but any head coaching change carries a risk, particularly bumping a coordinator to head coach.

I'm always torn with the USF/UCF game.

I'm from a city equally distant from both schools, although I've always preferred USF. (Never forget the 2007 totally deserved #2 Ranking).

But UCF is just pitiful....and I don't want any win-less team.

Man we look bad so far.

Even at Texas' lowest points this season I've been saying I didn't feel good about this game at all and we're seeing why right now. Offense is going nowhere and it's just a matter of time before a Texas runner breaks one on our defense.

I cant see the game but are reading the gamecast on espn.com and it reads like a pretty bad game by both teams so far.

The announcer on the UCF/USF game is salty as fuck for having to be here tonight.

Dude's acting like a total ass. Someone needs to take him to MacDonalds or something.

I believe Jakeem Grant is only 6 yards away from setting the Tech career receiving yards record (currently held by Michael Crabtree).

#20 for Tech looks like Rudy. He's tiny.

He's actually the same weight but about 3 inches taller than #11, the guy I mentioned earlier that is about to set our career receiving yards mark.

I wasn't really a believer in Warren but he looks good. Don't know how much of this is Techs defense though.

All of it.

It could be Adrian Peterson back there and I'd say all of it.

Defense actually has been a bit better lately, though, a few meltdown drives here and there notwithstanding. Have a few players actually making some big hits and fighting for some balls, two areas in which we have been distinctly lacking for many years now.

::edit::
I did really like Warren coming out of high school, though.

UGA got a commitment for a second 4 star RB, Devwah Whaley, out of Texas today. Elijah Holyfield is the other. They like to sign top rated backs in pairs (Marshall and Gurley, Michel and Chubb). Nice pickup over Texas, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.

Surprised. I thought he was going to either arky or Texas after Curtis flipped.

Come on, two more stops. Not convinced Texas won't go for it on 4th no matter how many yards it is.

::edit::
There's one.

::edit 2::
And here's the 4th down attempt.

::edit 3::
Oh thank goodness. Run this clock out, please.
