UGA got a commitment for a second 4 star RB, Devwah Whaley, out of Texas today. Elijah Holyfield is the other. They like to sign top rated backs in pairs (Marshall and Gurley, Michel and Chubb). Nice pickup over Texas, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.

Where do you think they'll go after they decommit, though.

First win over Texas since 2008, first win in Austin since 1997. Guaranteed winning record this season now.

Glad the losing streak is over even if Texas had half their team on the injury bench.

Surprised. I thought he was going to either arky or Texas after Curtis flipped.

Why's that? Despite what people in the national media think, UGA isn't really losing any recruits. They don't seem to be worried about Richt's future there. Whaley has apparently been a silent commit since the USCe game, he just got tired of reporters asking him about his commitment.

Ugh, good game Monroeski.

We both know that's not true. :jnc

Second half was better than the first half, at least. Both teams looked completely incompetent in the first and only defensively incompetent in the second.

::edit::
The trick play was called "little people, big world."

Almost crazy that only one season separates UCF going 12-1 with a BCS bowl win, to 0-12.

Let them play Kansas in the winless bowl.

Why is Ohio Michigan so early tomorrow. I'll be sleeping when it kicks off lol

Damn, I forgot how annoying these Tech losses are. At least they only come once every 6 or 7 years.

Yep, and if we lose to Baylor next week then it will be the first time Texas has lost at least 8 games in a season since 1956. If a shitastic season like this is what it takes for Tech to beat us by 3 points then we'll be okay

Hahhaa yes! Goddamn what a shitshow. BCS bowl and back to back conference champs to this mess. I honestly don't think our talet is as bad as displayed this season, just highly inexperienced. Scholarship losses, early departures, and injuries led to playing more freshmen/sophomores than we ever have. Coupled with a head coach all but checked out, hiring a defensive coordinator that just got fired from USF, and an unskilled offensive coordinator with no experience... Well there you go.

I bet next time a coach says they're done after a big season like 2013/2014, the administration won't convince them to stay a couple more years like they did this time. At least this season prevented further disaster by simply promoting the sitting offensive coordinator to head coach. We dodged a bullet there big time.

That being said...

TCU-Baylor tonight is going to be a mess. 40 degrees and pouring rain. Fort Worth is going to be crazy though. So excited.

There's a ton of good games today.

One thing I was not expecting was weather to be worse in Dallas vs. Florida. Serious rainstorms pretty much nonstop. I've received so many flash flood alerts too!

Hopefully that crap stays up north while I'm in Houston today!

I drove down to Fort Worth last night from Plano to stay overnight in a hotel, and it was insane rainwise.

And indeed! Houston has already had more than its fair share of flooding this year. I live in downtown Houston, and the flooding back in May was the craziest thing I've seen.

They'd be less annoying if your players would stay quiet on Twitter.
Not just this thread, but of my friends that follow college football, they're mostly Tech fans.

But quandre can say whatever he wants he never lost to Tech in his 4 years here.

Hasn't been too bad overall this year. A couple of big storms but generally pretty mild it seems to me.
