There are no chances.

Do you have a source image that proves the exemplary posterior or is it just conjecture?

Kamiya in bed with MS makes me nervous.

I loved being able to count on platinum games as multiplats. Or at least Wii U exclusives.

If Wii U gets exclusive games, I see no reason why the others shouldn't as well.

Third party exclusives are rare these days, but I don't mind them even if I miss out on some games I want because they give each console its own flavour. Platinum keeps getting funding, games keep getting made, and you get a catalogue of games built up for if/when you get around to buying a second/third console.

Cboat probably gave enough clues away about who he is that someone else pretty in the know at MS could fathom a guess at who he is.

clues:
1 - Been at MS in some capacity since pre 360 which probably shortens the list alot
2 - Is in Germany for the show - again this chops the list
3 - Someone has to ask people what sites they saw, and anyone who visited churchs and parks over the weekend pre-show is suspect

I guess he's an AV specialist who works on location and coordinates the presentations, and a pretty likeable guy who everyone talks to and spills their souls to...thats my FBI profile on him. :/

anyway...I guess no more cboat posts until next gen..or ever :(

god speed crazy buttocks.

Consider the power and reach Microsoft has, and how much money they could lose by someone spilling these secrets. They don't go around talking about this for a reason (stocks, etc.). They could easily contact a moderator and get them to tell who it is, and if they don't know, they could either hire a hacker to hack NeoGaf and find the IP of Cboat, or do it themselves.

The only way that Microsoft still doesn't know who it is is if the moderators don't know who it is (They've allowed him to post even though they don't know who it is. They usually require some sort of knowledge of who it is to allow this.), and cboat is well versed with proxies.

And CBOAT did not become angry, but instead turned his cheek.

And they weeped, for they saw the error of their ways."

Dear Lord, I just choked on my vaporizer...

CBOAT is the one true God. May His words be spread to the farthest corners of the globe.

In CBOAT's name we pray...Amen.

That's not an impressive number even for today's market let alone when that game came out.

It's impressive by Platinum games standards...

But NG2 was rusehd out the door with little care by Microsoft anyway. Game could have been so much more than it was with another few months in the oven.

Better than any platinum game. And better than many third party WiiU games LTD

My argument is simple. Id rather P* games on more powerful hardware, even If I can't play them. As I keep saying, they keep putting out constantly great games that don't sell. Because the Quality is there, its only a matter of time beforee they make something that blows everyones socks off. But to get to that stage the need to continue to pum out content. Every game they make is a stepping stone to something greater. If I accept that a game is X1 exclusive so Platinum are around long enough to make their Dark souls, so be it.

lets not forget how many low selling but excellent 360 games From software put out this generation. Platinum needs to go gett that Microsoft money and people who love their games need to stop thinking short term and shut the fuck up.

I find it silly when different discussion boards act so hostile to each other. It seems counter-intuitive to me.

But then CBOAT always brings the goods. Always intriguing to watch some individuals react to it. Guess some people just can't ride his tides.

Well it's the Xbox One subreddit - of course they'll be a "little bit" hostile towards MS leaks that could be interpreted as bad news - it's like the old xbox one megathread but on steroids...

This has to be the quickest I have ever cancelled a pre-order. I pre-ordered on Friday after the Kinect 180. Cancelled as soon as I got home today after the cboat news. Since I was going to dumpster the kinect anyway I may as well wait til next Spring and get one without.

For one, let me say that cboat's leaks have for the most part been very accurate and he definitely is an insider (or a time traveler). I believe what he says and take it seriously.

However, even in his own words he said he has heard whispers about a possible Kinect-less SKU for Spring. That means that there is probably discussion going on about that within Microsoft but in no way did cboat say it was coming out. To cancel your pre-order for someone leaking information saying something that isn't definite doesn't make sense. There is bound to be a lot of discussions going on within Microsoft, and now that the console doesn't need Kinect plugged in, that was probably one of them.

I would wait until official news to make any purchasing decision.

Gamestop/Microsoft recently announced a special program where you can trade in your 360 versions of particular games, and get $50 credit towards the XB1 version. One of those games is Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Why would Microsoft ever create such a program if the XB1 was going to be out anywhere near the launch of Ghosts, on Nov 5th?

This program existing makes me think the earliest we're gonna see the XB1 is mid November.

That's actually a very smart theory. I never made that connection but I also don't understand that trade in program if the Xbone was coming out the first week or two of November.

I can't remember very many instances of open friendliness between gaming boards, but yeah, it's pretty silly. There are trolls and reasonable minds everywhere.
