I've been thinking about that page in Green Lantern where Sinestro
saw a vision from the Book of Black.

Obviously it's a hint towards future stories, and I'm guessing it's going to take place in the following order:

The Guardians bring back the First Lantern to lead the Third Army and in doing so attempt to wipe out the entire GLC. Meanwhile Black Hand is freed from the Indigo Tribe and kills Hal, and in the process gets his ring. Using his new found powers, he also takes down Sinestro. The Guardians don't want Sinestro toget off that easy for his past transgressions and use the White Ring to revive him and then enslave him in the Indigo Tribe, stripped of all emotion and devoid of what makes him Sinestro. The final coup de grace is that the Indigo Tribe are the Third Army, a blend of the Manhunters and GLC. Like the Manhunters they are devoid of emotion and attachment, but cannot be reprogrammed, but they can still wield the powers of the emotional spectrum like the GLC only they can channel all aspects of it.

Secret Avengers #22 starts a new arc with a new writer (same as 22.1..) so it would be a good jumping on point.

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but in Wolverine and the X-men

I love that Gambit is the sex-ed teacher.

It's criminal we haven't seen that yet.

I've been thinking about that page in Green Lantern that I opened on and laughed so hard that I knocked the rest of the Green Lanterns off the shelf and the dude was like "Hey, are you gonna pick those up?" but he glanced over the pile and one of the books was open and then he started laughing so hard that all the statues and busts in the store exploded and as painted clay rained over the store and the force the blast sent the Green Lanterns into the air, everyone else in the store started laughing so hard that a water main broke.

It was a rough scene. They need to get Mahnke back ASAP.

Oh yeah Choi's art was terrible, Hal looked like a teenager.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but there is going to be a Doctor Who/Star Trek: TNG comic crossover.

In May, IDW are to publish a Doctor Who/Star Trek: The Next Generation crossover series. Featuring The Doctor, Rory, Amy, Captain Picard, Worf, Data, Geordie LaForge, Deanna Troy, Will Riker and the rest. And that this art, featuring the Doctor, Rory and Amy on the bridge of the Enterprise is a cover that will be used in the series.

Does Greg Land have something against drawing eyes?

Avenging Spider-Man #4 preview

Land is only on this for #4 then it's back to Joe Mad for an issue.

Lenil Yu is drawing #5, which has Captain America vs Spider-Man. Then #6 is part of a crossover with Punisher/Daredevil, written by Waid/Rucka with the Punisher artist drawing it.

I think Joe Mad is back on #7, we'll know once those solicitations hit...maybe next week?

Ah, I saw Joe Mad's name in the Feb12 credits for AvSM, but it's for Spider-Man Season One because they are including AvSM #1 in it.

The next Joe Mad story apparently involves Spidey teaming up with Elektra. I know Zeb Wells has always been a big fan of the character, so consider me interested.

I wonder if they will carry over Spidey's sexual frustration from the recent team-up with
DD and Black Cat.

"This is my super villain origin story." lol

It would have been really cool if they waited a little bit longer, made it a super huge event.

When and where are they coming back? Justice League? Their own series?

KAREN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yay, one less superheroine with the awful, awful design element of bare legs. :) Shame about Supergirl and Wonder Woman's costumes, though.

Looks like they were active as Supergirl and Robin on Earth-2, which would be a major change from their pre-COIE history.

I am fine with the lack of boob window.

So this week Batman and Robin was great, especially Damian's line
"Because he's my father, your idiot!"

Lobster Johnson #2 was great too and the art was fantastic IMO.
Demon Knights was great too.

Really loving the Hellboy Universe these days. Always gorgeous, always consistent in tone and it has this really weird groundedness that I love. Like a long distance relationship? Over Skype and stuff? In a monster comic? How cool is that?!?

George Perez not improving has done George's artwork no favors.

Yeah, but you can't say things like that too loudly, you'll offend people

Alan Davis has the same problem, although I still like looking at his work. Best facial expressions in comic.

edit: See, what I told you about Perez

Well at least we're able to discern between original Golden Age Earth-2 and New 52 Earth-2

and Crime Syndicate of America's Earth-2

Kal-L :(

Setting aside PG's boobs entirely, what the hell is with her feathered 1978 hair?

I see an "R" on that vision of Huntress. I guess she used to be E2's Robin. Was she like that originally?
Nope. Earth 2 is getting its own reboot, clearly.

Protip: Already reading about the Trinity v Darkseid in Justice League. I was looking forward to this being about Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, Ted Grant, et al.

Earth 2 is about the JSA. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman were in the JSA.
This is a variant cover. :lol
