And Hank Pym-Skrull gave her a baby. Don't 'get' the love for Tigra. She grosses me out.

It's not like there's a dearth of hot women in skimpy outfits in Marvel comics.

I can't believe Luke Cage boned that.

smashed and banged it.

I like what Mahvell is doing with the fractional iterations of their books, and then snapping back to the primary group via magick and science and Stan Lee waving his cosmic hands. If you don't want to get into a small set, you can skip it, and not really miss much. Your main book will for the most part be pretty self contained. Tony Stark went into space? Cool story bro face. Everything else remains compartmentalized and you don't get confused about the story, don't end up needing to spend money to find explanations...the non-reboot that sets up big story options, allows for side-projects and crossovers that just allow them to slurp up money with a straw. They have organized their garden very well.

(yeah it's not Tigra love, well, not much anymore. When she came out she was cheesecake, but the hipsters at Marvel today play it like "I can't believe Pym has sex with her" context when they write it. That's a new attitude but seems to fit with the younger crowd. She still has her fans.)

Superior Foes of Spider-Man new ongoing series by Spencer and Lieber.

Excited?

Could be interesting if done right, have doubts it will.

I'd still rather have a Mysterio/Chameleon team-up book where they go around pulling Ocean's 11 style jobs. That would be my book right there.

Finished New X-Men Ult Collection 3, wild ride......now it's time to go on the internets to have the last arc explained to me since it's all Morrisony. Also doesn't help that i read the first volume a long time ago and then read the next two in a row recently as i forgot some of what happened.

DCBS shipment arrived, now i can read the Walking Dead's newest issue like everyone should be doing.

Can someone fill me in on the basics of AoU? Or just spoiler-wall it here?

From what ive seen and heard it sounds unnecessary, but "CHANGE THE FUTURE FOREVER" gets the better of me every now and again. Not sure if I need it?

Honestly nothing has really happened yet. Well I shouldn't say nothing, Cap isn't sitting anymore...he's standing but he's still slouched over.

Batman Beyond. It's schway.

They killed Black Panther and apparently Spider-Man went from Parker to Ock between issues 2 and 3
but besides that, nothing has happened.

Posted it in the MCU thread, but got my briefcase full of blu-rays.

I quite like it a lot, though I wonder if DC will ever do something like this when they eventually get their act together regarding their movies.

Since you like Hawkeye I guess you would enjoy Fraction's far superior work in FF.

New Remender interview on the Uncanny Avengers #5 controversy. He actually responds to what his critics are actually saying this time! Much, much, much better than his initial "I'm sorry some random person on the Internet forced me to be an asshole by (supposedly) calling me racist" quasi-apology.

That said, there's nothing in the actual issue that suggests to me Havok wasn't intended to be a completely sympathetic POV character when he gives his big speech, so I'm dubious about Remender's claims to the contrary. Maybe I'm just being overly cynical, but I wouldn't be surprised if he just didn't fully think through the implications of that scene and is now retconning himself.

Can anyone tell me whats going on with Raven in the new 52?
Haven't read any of the new 52 stuff since it started, but I happened to see Teen Titans #17 today.
My only thought is that she looks absolutely ridiculous.

Broad is just been introduced in New 52 teen titans. She's supposed to get her own book soon....

No Black Beetle #3 in the OP? Great as usual otherwise! Did any of you get Sex #1? I must have missed impressions last month, how did you guys like it? I might pick that up along with #2.

Also got my copy of East of West #1 today. There was a lot of hype, but I thought it was great. Awesome art, cool setup, and I liked that map at the end. It's strange to think that even after all the stuff that happened differently in history that Minnesota would still have the Northwest Angle.

I'm dubious about the fact he didn't address his bullshit comments to some of the people who brought up the issue, and I'm even more dubious about Newsarama as a credible source.

So Leinil Yu had to leave Indestructible Hulk to draw the Avengers tie ins for Infinity? Uuugggghhh I hope an Inhumans series spins out of this from comics superstar Matt Fraction.

I liked both Walking Dead #108 and Invincible #101, Kirkman keeps both books at the top of my reading list whenever i get a shipment in from dcbs, they are good serial books where i want to read the next issue and see what happens yet aren't Smallvile TV show levels of horrible, even if only a few issues ever reach Birdie-tier in greatness, but it's been consistently enjoyable for awhile now.

She's enough of a furry for non-furries to fetishize without actually labeling themselves furries. If that makes sense.

Down for Regular Show and Sonic/Mega Man starting this month. Sucks that X-Men got delayed, otherwise this month would've been perfect to try out my first pull list in full.

For my third comic out of the stack i went with Justice League of America #2. It started out well with a brief Scarecrow exchange but as soon as Johns got his hands on a Waller/Trevor double page of dialog i wanted to crumple the book up and throw it at a picture of Didio. This is how it's going to be with JLoA isn't it Johns, two terribly boring characters chatting on about the same old stuff. Do this job! I can't! YOU WILL! Okay! Two pages gone and i'm struggling to progress since the next page is a double page spread of one guy in an empty meeting room. That table looks so good. The rest of the issue was enjoyable, especially the Vibe/Hawkman page, but the ending was a real letdown in pacing.
if you end the first issue with green arrow being beaten by some somewhat weird looking Justice League people, don't end the second issue with the JloA being beaten by the same people, it highlights that nothing much happened this issue

I'm suddenly reminded that I have yet to read Sandman. I should probably correct this, sooner or later. :p

How is this book, these days? I've heard some pretty mediocre reception at it's start, like Batgirl, but has it gone up in quality?
I still haven't read that volume :p my backlog is so big. Just gets bigger too.

Worlds' Finest is an average to good book. As you might expect the premise is a Power Girl / Huntress team up book. So the attention tends to get split both ways. They also tend to do one part present, one part flashback to shortly after their arrival on Mainline Earth. Basic premise has been this contention between Karen and Helena; Karen wants to get back home and is working to try and make that happen, while Helena has more or less accepted their new home.

PeeGee is still identifiable to fans of her previous incarnations, save that she is perhaps a bit less "mopey" and a little more, uh, sexually liberated? It's kind of amusing between not being able to tell if she is just joking. I think she is just joking most of the time. Probably.

Art is entirely a personal preference. I was put off by the "Barbie" aethsetic at first but it's grown on me. But Kevin Maguire is leaving at issue 12 so who knows how it'll be after.

It's not the perfect book. It has flaws. One arc in particular dragged early on, but it's been worth my time and I'm looking forward to seeing whether they return to Earth 2 or join up with the current Leagues. They definitely need more interaction in that regard. (Which the next 2 issues seem to be suggesting with the Supergirl showdown?)

Is there a good medieval comic whith out superheroes or magic in it? I think someone should do a proper Robin Hood comic. I think that would work out really well actually.

Omnibus get!

X-Statix. Fuck me the cover is so good

Fear Agent Volume 1:

Couple of size comparisons. So oversized, so good.

Wow, those look nice. From people who have read fear agent, how is it?

It is definitely not the greatest book, but it's fun. I really enjoy the PG/Huntress dynamic and there was some nice interactions with them and their Earth 1 counterparts.

I didn't know The Last of Us comic actually had interesting art, I was expecting a throwaway tie-in. Got me curious about the story, if it stands well on its own I may check it out.
