How are Remender's books at image right now? Thinking of giving them a shot.
Really fantastic. Deadly Class has it's critics, but Low and Black Science are wonderful.

How has JLD been since FE ended?
That was my feeling as well. Back to the 80s Claremont days with Carol Danvers in her head, aint that bout a bitch. Really gotta wonder how long that development gonna last
LMAO @ Immortus telling Havok/Wasp the time and place they need to fuck to get their kid back, comic books ya'll
And then they smiled at that. LOL
God Image is on a role with their Science Fiction titles.

Superman #34, man...
"Cool, let me get my cape."

I love that Johns gave Superman a Superbrah to adventure with.
You just named Rafas first comic book!
Superman is just so cozy right now, I love it.
That moment in 32 where Supes had the baseball cap on backwards was just so great.
I'm really liking it
You just named Rafas first comic book!
That's a great description, in both story and art. It's a comfortable comic!Superman is just so cozy right now, I love it.
HOLY FUCK I HAD THOSE CARDS
I love her clothes
I know nothing about this or the recently announced Image books. What's the rundown?

Sci-fi western with a single mom as the new town sheriff.
That sounds pretty cool and something I would enjoy.
what the hell?
COMICS!
I didnt read Wolverine, but to clarify -Logan is now the guy he was, before the X-Gen kicked in? Or did he a body switch with this one guy Dog or how he was named?
Um, wtf? Need more explanation.
he just wants to be called james howlett now, no more logan.
Is it really? Ha ha ha ha ha ha holy fucking shit. You got me, Marvel. GG.
Saga is always good. It hit a bit of a slump for a few issues, but its been picking up steam again with the last few.
Oh man that is amazing
The ad in Saga was the first I have heard of it. I bet it'll be good.
Okay, since a lot of people seemed to have skipped Wolverine, a synopsis of this issue:
- Scenario plays out like the end of the last Wolverine series, in a mall with civilians
- Sabretooth taunts Wolverine, saying that he's still scared of death because he's wearing his armor
- Wolverine STRIPS DOWN TO HIS SKIVVIES AND ATTACKS
- They fight, Wolverine wins because he feigns losing.
- Wolverine doesn't kill Sabretooth, and collapses.
- Death appears and is disappointed in Wolverine for not killing Sabretooth. Ends by saying "I'll see you soon".
- Wolverine wakes up in a hospital, revived with the help of Lady Frankenstein (or however she's called).
- Book ends with Wolverine seeing Kitty again, making amends, and says to call him James.
I suppose this ending was expected. The end is literally about Wolverine finally giving up his Logan/Wolverine persona and becoming James again. However, who knows what the next issue will bring.
The solicits were confusing too, since there are a few comics in the coming months that reference the death of Wolverine. So perhaps this isn't the end?
How has JLD been since FE ended?
As I said on the last page. "Death of Wolverine" actually starts next month. Separate book. But yeah this lead up was confusing as hell.
I've always thought that Death of Wolverinedealt with the aftermath of the events in Wolverine? Or did I read the solicits incorrectly?
That sounds pretty cool and something I would enjoy.
I have two original pages that my wife got me as an anniversary gift, random prints and Art Baltazar drawings from cons. We've gotten most of it framed and hanging up in our house.
I store most of my 11x17 prints/original art in an ITOYA portfolio. Works great and easy to store!
Saga was really good. I will say though, I get the complaints. After establishing the world of the book, it has become the comic about nothing. That's a Seinfeld reference so don't go jumping down my back. I fucking love Seinfeld. The pace of the book is EVERY bit as slow as Futures End. You have to love the world that has been established to like the book.
Black Science. Holy fuck the art just drops my jaw sometimes. It is so good, it would take Hollywood millions of dollars just to create a set for one scene. The story continues to move on. I wouldn't mind if the kids have their own little adventure for awhile.
i've had my eye on that one since some comics critics I read liked it. Azz + Chiang!Guys, this is the fucking pun-iest Azzarello book I've ever read, which makes it the pun-iest book ever. It's pretty good, too, if you like seeing a bunch of nobodies fight irrelevance and obsolescence brought on by the DC Architects behind Infinite Crisis/52. [Also, I'd post some of the puns but it's such a short book and they come at you so nauseatingly hard that I'd rather anybody interested buy it for 7 or whatever bucks and feel your stomach churn and your eyes roll as Azzarello does what he does best.]
b-but she's... not...Summary of Wayward #1:
I'm so close to dropping this book. I've never been more determined to do so for any other comic and #19 will probably the last GotG book I read from Bendis.
Damn Saga was good this month. I'm loving the Janitor. Also, bahaha King robot. That was so ridiculous it worked.
GOTG 18:Since when did Richard Rider become Richard Ryder? Is this the first instance of the spelling?
I remember we were recently talking about Criminal moving over to Image for future publishing. Well I've spotted the first reprint coming in January, just a basic single volume trade.
Wayward was weird. No build up, shit just sort of flips into crazy mode. Maybe I'm being unfair.
I'll never understand why you poor saps expose yourselves to comics you know are crap.
...and I haven't even read Bendis' GOTG....
