That was my feeling as well. Back to the 80s Claremont days with Carol Danvers in her head, aint that bout a bitch. Really gotta wonder how long that development gonna last

LMAO @ Immortus telling Havok/Wasp the time and place they need to fuck to get their kid back, comic books ya'll

And then they smiled at that. LOL

God Image is on a role with their Science Fiction titles.

Copperhead. Coming out next month. So hyped.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. love all the art i've seen for it.

Guys guys guys I'm excited! Next week I start to get to read marvel comics again! Thanks to images great lineup that just gets better, a Marvel unlimited sale, and Marvels idiotic price drop policies (6-8 months?) in feb I stopped comixology purchases and went to MU. The problem being I've had to wait 6 months for MU to catch up. But it's finally happening. Can't wait to try out different series I'd avoid because they were $4. And continue with the series I had to halt.

I mostly lurk but just popping in to say Low #2 was just incredible. We're only two issues in and the team has created a living, breathing world that I'm fully invested in. It's a dense read for a comic, but I really enjoy that aspect and look forward to seeing where the story goes from here.

Also, Saga spoilers
When I got to the spread of King Robot I let out a laugh and told my girlfriend "of course that's what he looks like," best part of the book.

what the hell? o_O

I didnt read Wolverine, but to clarify -
Logan is now the guy he was, before the X-Gen kicked in? Or did he a body switch with this one guy Dog or how he was named?

Um, wtf? Need more explanation.

he just wants to be called james howlett now, no more logan.

Is it really? Ha ha ha ha ha ha holy fucking shit. You got me, Marvel. GG.

Saga is always good. It hit a bit of a slump for a few issues, but its been picking up steam again with the last few.

Oh man that is amazing

Okay, since a lot of people seemed to have skipped Wolverine, a synopsis of this issue:

- Scenario plays out like the end of the last Wolverine series, in a mall with civilians
- Sabretooth taunts Wolverine, saying that he's still scared of death because he's wearing his armor
- Wolverine STRIPS DOWN TO HIS SKIVVIES AND ATTACKS
- They fight, Wolverine wins because he feigns losing.
- Wolverine doesn't kill Sabretooth, and collapses.
- Death appears and is disappointed in Wolverine for not killing Sabretooth. Ends by saying "I'll see you soon".
- Wolverine wakes up in a hospital, revived with the help of Lady Frankenstein (or however she's called).
- Book ends with Wolverine seeing Kitty again, making amends, and says to call him James.

I suppose this ending was expected. The end is literally about Wolverine finally giving up his Logan/Wolverine persona and becoming James again. However, who knows what the next issue will bring.

The solicits were confusing too, since there are a few comics in the coming months that reference the death of Wolverine. So perhaps this isn't the end?

As I said on the last page. "Death of Wolverine" actually starts next month. Separate book. But yeah this lead up was confusing as hell.

How has JLD been since FE ended?

Not as strong as it was for the first 18 months or so, but still solid and interesting. My brain wants to say the art hasn't been as strong as the writing though. I may be misremebering though I've been working for like 14 some hours today and still going.

I've always thought that Death of Wolverine
dealt with the aftermath of the events in Wolverine? Or did I read the solicits incorrectly?

Having read Cornell's Wolverine run from the beginning, I feelt that this conclusion was what he was always going for.

This whole Death of Wolverine mess reeks like editorial stepping of
and saying "I know! Let's kill him for REALS!"

Saga was really good. I will say though, I get the complaints. After establishing the world of the book, it has become the comic about nothing. That's a Seinfeld reference so don't go jumping down my back. I fucking love Seinfeld. The pace of the book is EVERY bit as slow as Futures End. You have to love the world that has been established to like the book.

Black Science. Holy fuck the art just drops my jaw sometimes. It is so good, it would take Hollywood millions of dollars just to create a set for one scene. The story continues to move on. I wouldn't mind if the kids have their own little adventure for awhile.

That sounds pretty cool and something I would enjoy.

You should definitely check it out. Jay Faerber is a great (and sadly) underrated writer. (Co-creator of Noble Causes, Dynamo 5 and Near Death)

I have two original pages that my wife got me as an anniversary gift, random prints and Art Baltazar drawings from cons. We've gotten most of it framed and hanging up in our house.

I store most of my 11x17 prints/original art in an ITOYA portfolio. Works great and easy to store!

Thanks for the recommendations!

Guys, this is the fucking pun-iest Azzarello book I've ever read, which makes it the pun-iest book ever. It's pretty good, too, if you like seeing a bunch of nobodies fight irrelevance and obsolescence brought on by the DC Architects behind Infinite Crisis/52. [Also, I'd post some of the puns but it's such a short book and they come at you so nauseatingly hard that I'd rather anybody interested buy it for 7 or whatever bucks and feel your stomach churn and your eyes roll as Azzarello does what he does best.]

I feel like saga is starting to move forward. I kind of wish I had heard of it 2 years from now. I'm thoroughly hooked, so I don't want to wait in trades, but it's going slowly. Be a lot more enjoyable all at once. I'll have to go and reread it all.

As for black science, just finished reading it. It's so gorgeous. I'm not sure what I like more. The art or the story, because both are awesome stuff. Really glad I picked up that trade paperback on a whim.

So I just finished reading Guardians of the Galaxy #18...
I'm so close to dropping this book. I've never been more determined to do so for any other comic and #19 will probably the last GotG book I read from Bendis.
