I've only read a little bit of Alan Moore (Saga of the Swamp Thing Vol 1), but he seems to be pretty revered. I guess this is sort of tied in with the League of Extraordinary Gentleman?
Jeez, I just googled him. Looks like he could be part of the Manson family.

I dunno, Century was kind of mean and I'm not sure I really care for Moore's work these days and as someone that's been reading his stuff since Maxwell the Magic Cat that's hard for me to say. O'Neill's art is beautiful though.

Didn't realize it was happening. Seems to be more all-story shenanigans and less a treatise on how everything is shit today so I'm sure it'll be a good time.

I'll grab it when Amazon's got it. I'm such a massive 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea fan, and I've enjoyed what Moore has done with Nemo and family.
This is supposed to be a standalone story.

Oh, nice - thanks for this. Kinda torn on the story-
On one hand I don't see why the Joker wouldn't cut the Fam's faces off. He's insane and has no inhibitions whatsoever. It was hinted at by Harley, and in the story that this Joker was more violent, sadistic (?), and dangerous. At the very least, didn't he mention he was pouring Ammonia in Alfred's eyes at some point to Batman? But Alfred looked fine. But on the other hand I'm glad no one in the Family was taken out.
And I take it we are supposed to assume that his memory was extremely selective while he was stalking/harassing Nightwing and Batgirl in the same way he was when he took Alfred from Bruce?
