Not especially. I liked Red Hood and the Outlaws better than most around here, but it's nothing to write home about. RH/A is really, really, really dumb, but pretty fun nevertheless, mostly because it embraces the dumbness. In terms of actual character development, not much has happened. He's gotten a lot less angry, shed most of the "punisher knockoff" stuff, but isn't really on the mend with the rest of the family, and not much else has happened.
I think I recall him actually being on okay terms with Tim in the New 52. Wasn't there a moment with them in Teen Titans or something?
Yeah. DC pretty clearly isn't sure what to do with him. Which is bizarre, since you'd think that the black sheep of DC's first family would present some amazing opportunities, but here we are.
It's actually pretty good. I could see it doing okay as a comedy book.

Morrison gave him some pretty good development in Batman and Robin. It's one of the standout moments of that run.

Only 2 more issues of Swamp Thing to go! I have not liked this arc as much as the others but appreciate the creativeness of it.
Good to hear, I'll pick that one up next.
Swamp Thing in space is definitely the weakest point of the run, but Moore managed to do some pretty interesting things with the concept.
God damn...now I need this book even more. Freedom is euphoric bros. Messi can't stop giggling and shit sipping his Baja Blast in Florida. It's just that good.

No, Brad Meltzer killed Tim's dad in Identity Crisis.
Bats under Morrison was actually far less of an asshole than he had been prior to Morrison's run (he had pretty much alienated the entire Bat family after War Games).
Morrison actually wrote one of my all-time favorite Tim Drake scenes in "The Return of Bruce Wayne" #6. Plus it's not like he fired Tim as Bruce's Robin. Damien became Robin to Dick's Batman instead and that was an amazing dynamic between the two of them.

I have only ever owned the more recent edition of the Killing Joke. The colours are in the original are SO much better.
Ladys and Gentleman, and this is why Killing Joke is one of the best Batman storys ever.
Hopefully next year! Or you could come along to Long Beach Comic Con in September! I think all three of us are planning to be there.

I'll never understand it. My sense of how much money is worth is multiplied by like 10 when it's outgoing rather than incoming. Like, my mom will tell me one of her friends needs a ride to the airport and is willing to pay $50 and I'm like "$50? That's nothing... What's the point?" But then if there's something for sale for like $20 I'm like "$20!? That's outrageous! $20 is a ton of money! I'd never spend $20 of my precious dollars on that."
