We should do a USM book club. I haven't read it in awhile.

I'm in if the old series is on MU. I haven't read it since the days of the Ultimate Clone Saga, would be fun to revisit it.

Also, that list is missing Ultimate Six, the Ultimates/Spider-Man crossover. I remember it being good. And Spider-Men, which is so very good.

Is Ultimate Comics Spider-Man worth reading though?

I think I like the art style of what I can see in the preview pages on comiXology.

I remember really liking the first 14 or so issues before the series finally succumbed to the shittiness of Ultimatum. David LaFuente is a phenomenal artist that really paired up well with Bendis' material.

I believe it's all on MU. Yeah, I never touched most of that when I read it.

Alright, well, I know I'm the one who suggested it - but I'm not really sure how these things usually go. lol

Lol. Not only is my boss not in the office (I mean, she hasn't been in the office for 5 weeks, so that's kind of a given at this point), but her Skype is messing up too, so she's not even Skyping me today. This is the best.

I'm willing to plunk down 20 bones for a years worth of potential magic and mayhem from Morrison.

Only 20 bucks? Shoot. I might be down as well.

Yo lemme know where to go to do the same

I'm willing to give it a shot to see what Morrison puts together and see new work from Irving and Burnham

Yeah, looks like a year subscription (6 issues) is $21.95

So just gotta wait 'til before Morrison's first issue in 2016 comes out, and check that out. Like Tim said, if he's going to be enlisting his usual creative partners, then it'll be the easiest $21.95 that I spend that year.

Awesome. Would you mind shooting me a reminder whenever you subscribe? 2016 is a long ways away and I'm afraid I'll forget by then, but I'm pretty sure I'll subscribe to this. Seems pretty sweet.

No problem, man. I'm sure between Tim and myself we'll all be able to keep each other reminded.

Uhhh yeah, kinda?

Morrison has always been really hit-or-miss for me. More often than not I end up not liking his oddball stuff like Invisibles, and much prefer his runs on things like Batman or X-Men.

Same, which is why he`ll probably fare well on an editorial position. Or terribly. fiddy fiddy.

Well, except for x-men. They've always been terrible.

It's because you saw Kipp's glorious buttocks, isn't it?

XD

Where does Kipp live? I was thinking along the lines of moving to Arizona or thereabouts.

Yep, first in a trilogy. The next two are out in 2016.

I'm assuming the second book will take place after The Force Awakens, yeah?

Good why would you want footage???

Wait for the damn movie to actually come out. Too much information has already been given out.

You can't expect people to pay to see a movie they don't know much about. :p

I'm at page 26 of 46 in Ultimate Spider-Man #1 and I already love it a lot. I love the whole school atmosphere and I hope they'll look into that in the upcoming movie.

I love that the issue is on 46 pages. That's a lot compared to the other comics I have bought in recent days.

The Immortal Iron Fist and Alias are also really growing on me. I love the whole grounded detective thing going on with Jessica Jones. And I were surprised to see, that there have been a whole lot of Iron Fists before Danny Rand, which is an interesting part. Hopefully I'll soon get to see his origins.

*stalker stuff*

You do know that that's how one gets blocked, aye?

Some of this was posted earlier in regards to page rates and how little people in comics make, but Comics Beat did a nice write up on this issue and included comments from a podcast Sean Murphy was on. Well worth a (depressing) read if you missed it initially.

In which i've learned that apparently one can break his wrist by drawing.

I'm in San Diego County.
But why on earth would you want to move to Arizona!? Unless you were thinking the more mountainous areas rather than the terrible desert areas.

Ah geez. I'm at work so I only have time to do a quick skim of those graphs, but that's horribly depressing.
