I came into Secret Wars expecting nothing. I haven't really enjoyed Hickman's Avengers/New Avengers (although doubtless it reads better in trades). So far, I have really liked it. Maybe it's because issue #1 basically read like a giant what if for Ultimate vs 616. Issue #2 gave me some odd Game of Thrones vibes also. It also read like a giant What If? issue also.

I think the lack of Ant Man ads are just because Disney had to put most of their advertising budget into Avengers, then Tomorrowland, Ant Man stuff should ramp up now that T-land is coming out.

Where does Rage of Ultron fit in? Is it tied to Uncanny Avengers? Still interested in reading that and wanna progress in UA. I think I stopped right as it was about to get good. The start of the sequel arc to Uncanny X-Force.

And also the last theatrical trailer was legit good. Movie looks like it's trying way too hard in commercials, but if that last trailer was all I saw, I might even swear it'll be good. It might be a sleeper hit, I think.

Rage of Ultron is kind of its own thing, so you can really read it whenever you want. You'll be happy to see the creative team from the first arc of Uncanny X-Force for sure.

I liked the way they promoted Tomorrow before Avengers IMAX, a lot of one scene instead of a little of a lot of scenes. It didn't really tell you a lot about what the story was going to be, but I'd rather not know at all than know too much.
But I don't see it doing that well, really. And I actually like Lindelof.
(I recognize that he's not perfect, obviously, but I like his stuff more than I dislike it)

I really need to read more than the first 20 pages of the second Hellboy Library Edition... It's probably my all-time favorite comic and I've barely read any of it.

With this in mind, and not listing Zdarsky, if I was looking for more home-grown books (and again, not necessarily Canadian talent working on marvel/DC books), do you or ComicGAF have any recommendations? Something has recently spurred an interest in seeking such comics out, but I don't know where to start.

Was wondering how either would be useless, what with cell walls and protein chains eventually becoming too thick to be bitten through, plus taste prolly becoming all sorts of weird, but then...
Has any writer ever explained what pym particles do to atomic structures? Or to mass? I mean.. gods, if Hank can get so large that he'd interact with Eternity and the like, if he ever got to that size near earth, his gravity would most likely destroy the planet, and if mass remains constant, whenever he increases in size too much, wind attriction would cause him to topple. Like... what?
