You really don't need to read New 52 Flash. Rebirth is completely disconnected from it. Leads up to Flashpoint Paradox eventually (someone correct me on that if I'm wrong).
New 52 was okay (I only read the first trade) and I haven't heard anything to contradict that opinion.

Cyborg #1: You just gave this dude a new look in Forever Evil. Pick a style and stick with it.
He looks way cooler now though. They finally found a not-goober-looking design for him and it makes sense he would change outfits all the time anyway since his technology should always be improving similar to Iron Man. And it keeps it so that if he ever gets another terrible costume you know it will be gone in a year or two so no worries.

It's the one decent mini. The rest are a slog but the real event is great. Honestly the way they introduce the annihilation to readers is rough given all the praise that leads new readers to cosmic marvel

You all should know I find the idea of annihilation hard to take serious by the way because all I've seen of annihilus he was treated as a joke.

I remember Starlord being his normal wisecracking half-crazy self in Annihilation and Conquest. He was just more of a badass while he was doing it

Yeah, he was a smartass during the main Annihilation event, wasn't he? I recall him being pretty no-nonsense in the Thanos mini, though.
