Y is the best comic I've ever read, and I don't see that changing.
I ticked off my wife by spending all afternoon watching the Royals. One of the most unlikely comebacks I've ever witnessed.
tragic add me on ps4 and we'll crew up
psn: cool_calm_jon
where you at in Fables?
Reading and really liking the new Uncanny X-Men. Goodness I'm juggling so many comics right now but I love it.
Anyways, how much time passed since the universe was restored post-Secret Wars? Because Triage looks way older now.
Oh and I adore the cast of the Exiles. I kinda wish this Sunfire was Earth-616's Sunfire because she's awesome.
And when Reed Richards restored the earth, did he restore it to the time just before the final incursion was supposed to happen (but never did obviously)?8 months
I'll add you later tonight. I have a mic but am not using it since moving the PS4 upstairs. Wife and son are too light of sleepers. I do wear earphones.
I've only ever read the first book. I'm gonna start back at the beginning + fairest.

Comics!
Secret Wars Too #1 - didnt really like it. The first story with the meta hickman was funny but the rest did nothing for me.
All New Laura #2 - I love this book. Really like where the story with the clones is going and loved my boyshowing up for the cliffhanger. Pls dont cancel this book Marvel, or change creative.Taskmaster
Carnage #2 - this continues to be shockingly good. Theres a cool Aliens vibe with Carnage stalking them in the tunnels, Brock itching to let loose as Toxin, and to top it off there's a cool cliffhanger withbaby! Fun book.Man Wolf
Creative gas already changed. Takara is the artist now
You got a example so I can curl into fetal position and cry?
Am I the only one here who's read Sweet Tooth? It kind of blew me away. I didn't know what to expect at first, but certainly didn't expect this from the cover art. The pitch I saw in articles was "Bambi meets The Road", and it's totally that, with a little Last of Us atmosphere too. It's bleak, violent, dark, yet also kind of charming

Guys, where is Lunchpod?
I'm reading Doctor Mirage and it's pretty good. I need other Valiant suggestions. But nothing that's too far in. Maybe one or two hardcover volumes.
Batman Rebirth's are is so good.
Capullo is my defacto Batman artist but I think this new guy will do just fine.
I love cosmic colored characters, too. Gives me that nostalgic feel for Kirby. I love shit like Extant:I just finished the Wes Craig/Nathan Fairnbairn issues of Guardians. God, I wish the entire series looked like that. Pelletier and Walker did good work, and the non Fairnbairn colored Craig issues look great as well, but I had forgotten how perfect the Craig/Fairnbairn stuff fit the series. It just perfectly captured the tone of the book.
And lord knows I'm a sucker for cosmic characters colored to look like they contain the cosmos. Fairbairn of course crushed it on Starhawk.
Well well well then, I suppose I will have to keep going.Nope.

Really? I still feel like it's a discount Remender's Uncanny X-Force. Granted the new arc seems to be bringing it more into its own thing, but still.Reading and really liking the new Uncanny X-Men. Goodness I'm juggling so many comics right now but I love it.

Read The Valiant. Don't know if it's on CMX Unlimited, though.
Hm. That might be a good fit. Is it just the one volume?
I'll admit, I saw the cover of the first issue and passed based on that alone.
Well, 1) it's from the same writer as Animal ManWell, your posts have landed it a spot on my "To Read Someday" list, that's for sure.

Over 600 pages of comics in one day. This is honestly a record for me.
Any of y'all who doubted Mikel Janin should be ashamed of yourselves.

Do you really have time to soak in the art at that speed?
Archer and Armstrong. My favorite valiant book. Just a fun and funny book. It's the spiritus sequel to Marvels incredible here comic. Also check out Harbinger.Guys, where is Lunchpod?

Extraordinary X-Men #10
So...so are we all just gonna gloss over what happened? Yes? No? I guess.
Also Forge gettin' that:
In fact, Hitman is basically Preacher except without the only negatives (imo) that Preacher had - Hitman doesn't have the same excessive obscenity and vulgarity and straight-up grossness that burdened Preacher. Basically, Hitman is just a perfect comic.
I was more referring to the actual X-Men. You'll know what I'm talking about.I just haven't read it yet
Also Apoc was boring as fuckIf you told me a few weeks ago that I'd enjoy the new Alice more than X-Men Apocalypse I would have cackled and slapped you across the face for such blasphemy...
... but alas, I enjoyed Through The Looking Glass more than Apocalypse.
Mostly because I wasn't pissed by how Singer treated Storm the entire time lmao.
Comics are fun!
Batman Rebirth #1
Green Arrow Rebirth #1
Superman Rebirth #1
Paper Girls #6
See you in six months, Civil War II.
Are those Rebirth issues this coming Wednesday? Wow I didn't realize we're there so soon.
And Green Lanterns, but I'm not touching that shit.
