Megapost of Valiant screens incoming but, the art is ok in some places but amazing in others. I'll post a shot from later Harbinger. I just did a quick flip through the first Harbinger trade, and Evans was kind of growing into it at that point. He comes back a lot stronger for the third arc.
yeah, Valiant almost always has great art
Harbinger takes a little to find it's footing, but it gets so great and the story itself is well worth the read.

Writing and art are both great, though I kinda wish I was past this whole mechanic in the jungle part. It's enjoyable but it's been going on for forever I feel like.

It is. Coriolanus had mixed results with it as his first Valiant comic, but it was one of the first I read and it's my favorite thing they've put out.

Psh, IST is fine with shipping (outside of that one crazy time with the Hellboy Library Editions, but that was definitely just the result of an unusual situation in that they were moving and goddamn everyone had ordered them thanks to the moving sale). Usually they have stuff shipped out within a week of ordering, no problem, at least in my experience. Meanwhile, darn Rightstuf (though I love them for anime/manga stuff) has yet to ship any piece of the big old order I placed over a bit over a month ago, and thanks to them revamping their site, at least for now you can't even see which darn parts of your order are ready anymore, which is super frustrating for my OCD... Totally going to contact them about that on Monday, actually...

I gotta get moving in this game. I played 6+ hours yesterday and only did one story mission. Mission 7 is next. But I also already have 4 platforms built at Mother Base and got the trophy for 250 people "employed" at the base. It helps to kidnap everyone you possibly can.

I've been trying to read Justice League Dark. Was a mistake to pick it up after Simonson Thor. I should take the advice I usually dish out and drop it. I don't see this improving.

I tranq everyone I can. If it's heavily populated with enemies, I'll usually just stealth until I inevitably get seen, then go Rambo mode. I've recently started sniping guard towers before I even go in. Seems to work well.

Keep in mind, these are low key artists that started on the early Valiant stuff. They were underappreciated and underutilized at other companies. Most of the early artists, Evans in particular, grew a lot drawing these books.
