Batman as a team leader is a bad?
Has Justice League International taught you nothing?
It's just a boring, uninspired and really safe choice.
I'll still read for Killer Frost tho.

who thought that, some day, you'd look at Dan Didio statements, and you'd think to yourself "this guy gets it"

It's fine. But.
Batman is already featured in four terrific books. So this book might be better off if he's in some sort of background role.
On the other hand, I have seen this approach before and never really enjoyed it, I don't think? I think it's hard to do with Batman who is by his nature a very active character. It's hard to justify keeping him out of the fight.
And I do think it's kind of cynical. I mean, I get it. But let's not pretend he's on the team because they thought up a really cool way to include him. That came after they decided this book needs Batman to stand a chance.
Five books actually.
JLA looks cool to me because it's a team of lesser known and diverse heroes, but of course they had to throw Batverine in for his fourth team(if you count Trinity) and give him the big overarching spot on the cover. I'm guessing DC isn't confident in the team lineup so they just threw Batman in.
Not all of them are terrific

The next three SUICIDE SQUAD backup stories will be drawn by Carlos D'Anda, Christian Ward and Giuseppe Camuncoli!
Using an A-Lister to lead a team book isn't even exclusive to Batman and DC. Let's not forget about how Marvel relaunched Mighty Avengers as Captain America AND the Mighty Avengers not so long ago. Feels like a very weird thing to have issues with.
I don't have any issue with it conceptually but I think it's a difficult time to compete with this character. I'm interested to see if they can make it stand out.

Which is why I called him "Batverine" lol. I think it's a smart and obvious idea from a business standpoint.Using an A-Lister to lead a team book isn't even exclusive to Batman and DC. Yessssss
Found this list from last year with all the Avengers. With all the teens etc joining since then we're probably up to 140. Who's your favorite Avenger?
Is Parsons actually on it or are they just presenting?

One of the best relationships in comics.

Anybody ever finish Empire of the Dead?
Last thing I remember was a white supremacist chick showing up.
Happy Black Magick One Year Anniversary day!
The comic series? You know, I bought the hardcover but haven't started it yet. I'll probably get to it after Goon Library Vol.4.
Yeah that silly book with vampires living in high society in a fortified New York City. Does the hardcover contain all the issues?
Oh that's going to be really great isn't it

Marvel wanted certain artists working on the book to each come up with a new monster to go along with the old ones.Okay, why introduce more monsters? They already got a stacked deck of them already? Unless these are the monsters who'll start the series proper?

Damn, when are we getting more issues?

Just bought Hawkeye OHC Vol 1 and Thor OHC Vol 3.
She's kind of garbage at her job though. "Bring Ven home." "Ven go home." "No." "K"
World later
"Ven go home" "No Terra tho" "K"
Rinse and repeat
Honestly a few of those don't even look like monsters. They're robots. And I'm pretty sure one of them is a furry.
