I definitely don't like Jay Z's music over wayne's. Wayne is just a clown so his music entertains me way more.

Personally I really didn't mean to compare the two. I just don't like Jay Z so I am bias as a mother fucker man. The dude just screams fake. I am not claiming I am some real ass tough guy, but I just can't feel him at all.

Tupac died early enough to not get exposed as a energy rapper like DMX with no real skills to write about. People can tell you what songs they like from him, but who can provide bars? Nas, Biggie, Em and Jay.. their fans know their bars, not just what song about a girl who had a baby they like the most.

It was 16 anyway, not 15...if he was referring to the lyrics. The lyrics seem to suggest that he's putting doubt into your mind, given the area he grew up in (Compton) and that he was an A student in high school (how many "smart" students do you think would commit a murder).

Wow. Pac died because he chose that bullshit thuglife mentality instead of what his dad told him when he went to visit in prison. I actually like DMX some what, but did you just compare 2pac to DMX? I'm not saying that he didn't murder anybody, because Compton is a whole different ballgame, but there isn't evidence to suggest that he did. Just his word, which I don't take literally. He could be saying he thinks he's responsible for a murder, among other things. Lying or not, I think he's good, really good.

Reasonable Doubt alone puts Jay-z way above Lil Wayne. imo Weezy is actually terrible. He's rhymes are meh and he's voice is annoying (super raspy). Doesn't help that he tries to sing sometimes (oh god). At this point you can tell he enjoys riding his dick too much, he barely tries anymore.

My point exactly. People take things as fact, that are so clear, yet they aren't willing to prove it. Should be easy for a rap fan to spit some bars from their favorite artist. Makes you wonder.

Yeah not that Jay is my favorite although I do like a lot of his stuff. I can listen to it. I just can't listen to ill Wayne though its like a drill to the brain. Rather just listen to the others I mentioned over both. There's so many great rap artists that aren't that popular

No one is saying Pac was Nas on the mic with the bars, but to say he sucked is just wrong. Lyrically Pac was more poetic and a better writer overall than nearly any traditional "witty" rapper.
