...King Kong is.

UbiSoft played the game for nearly an hour at Comic Con today and it is stunning. Aside from the geometry, you could almost mistake it for next gen.

The FPS parts are great but when it switches to the third-person Kong areas...holy shit.

Kong's animation is by far some of the best ever done for any videogame. He looks incredible running, grabbing ledges, swinging, and snapping the jaw on a T-Rex. And he's furry.

Seriously, if the other two versions look even half as good as the Xbox one it'll be the most visually impressive console title in 2005.

The FPS gameplay looked interesting where when you throw a spear you need to run and grab it to throw it again. And you can light a spear on fire and toss it into grass to affect the path of a rampaging dinosaur that's after you.

God I'm hoping that a) King Kong is a good game (and movie), b) that's it's a big success and c) that Ubisoft let Micheal Ancel finish off the BG&E trilogy.

they better let him finish, I stopped caring about Ubisoft after they destroyed PoP and ignored BG&E, maybe I'll forgive them if King Kong turns out great

I've made all the noise I could about this game since E3 - it's nice to see other people are starting to cotton on. I managed to latch on to Catherine Roy, who's heading King Kong's 360 team, and the 360 version is meant to be a super-enhanced version of the Xbox version. Plus, there's a chance its launch (Nov 16) will coincide with Xbox 360's launch. Or something along those lines.

Ninja Gaiden with better lighting would have been the best looking Xbox game. Rallisport 2 sure could be a contender for the best looking Xbox game price for sure.
Riddick had this strange resolution halving on some scenes that really killed the whole graphics experience.
For me it's either Rallisport 2 or Conker. I'll wait to see how King Kong look of course, but since it's a multiplatform release I doubt it will technically be as good as these 2, but with the guys at Ubi Montpellier you never know.
