I mean when you are selling these GPUs at a 2x markup in retail stores like Microcenter and online on amazon and newegg where 2060s were going for $550 then you are bound to get an overall increase in spending even with a shortage.

It's not just about GPUs…

I know; GPUs, CPUs, motherboards, storage devices, chassis', PSUs etc.

GPUs get the big talk because of the shortages but there's a lot more to a PC than just those. Also, OEM desktops and laptops factor into it too.

The only thing I'm trippin' off is people are willingly spending thousands of dollars on mid-tier, lower "mid-tier" hardware. $1K-1200 for a 70 tier Nvidia card in 2019 was unheard of. My, my.... how time flies, lol.

I'm happy people got cards, but I'm sensing buyers remorse will set in within a few years.
