Uh oh - I saw this movie an insane number of times in the theater - we're talking double digits here - but I refused to buy the DVD because it was so skimpy and I have it on widescreen VHS. I'm gonna snap this sucker up on day one.

I've seen roughly half the movie (with no sound), including the entire sequence from when the boat hit the berg until it sank. Where I saw it was at a company called Cinram, who create the videos and now (assumedly) DVD's for various companies. It was actually a pretty cool job, though I can't say the 12 hour shifts agreed with me.

Loan Grufford who plays Ben Richards in the new Fantastic 4 movie had all his scenes as one of the Titanic officers competely edited out of the movie when it was released. :lol Still he got plenty of Ocean around him when he played Hornblower a few years later.

I agree, I hate non prolific artists. Look at Spielberg- he consistently cranks out good movies, usually multiples a year.

Speilberg took a good 4 to 5 years off between Schindlers and Lost World. Kubrick was doing one every 7 years for a while until his death and everyone's one hit wonder Terrance Malick took 20 years until he did Thin Red Line.

Which can be argued was counter-productive, as Schindler was Spielberg's towering masterpiece, and TLW arguably his worst. Whereas he took virtually no time off between Jaws ('75), CE3K ('77), Raiders ('80), and E.T. ('82), and they're all masterpieces.

Cameron was actually very vocal against T3 at first, and he even mocks it in his commentary on the T2 Ultimate Edition "Doesn't that sound better than 'She'll be back?'"

However, you're right. After T3 came out Cameron said he enjoyed it and that it was basically the direction he would've gone if he did a third Terminator movie.
