That's probably their last occasion to play it cause they don't have a WiiU and won't buy a NX!

Just kidding!

And people thought that Nintendo was making a mistake in making Zelda the only playable game on the showfloor, goes to show how much they know.

"The last time this happened was when Nintendo was unveiled the Wii"

And that sold a lot.

Is it bad I am getting really excited about the success this game can be?

I hope the positive reception motivates Nintendo to make a MM style sequel/expansion for 2018.
I don't want to wait another 5 years for a new console Zelda.

Remember borrowing this game from a classmate back in the late eighties. Must have been 7 or 8 years old. Thought the game was boring. Its come along way.

Considering THIS Zelda has been teased since the inception of the Wii U. Literally going a whole gen without a new Zelda game. These people are thirsty for it. Don't blame them. It looks great honestly.

Man I remember last year, got in line to play star fox zero when the doors opened. The dude cut the line off after I got in line. When I asked him how long did he think i'd be in line for, he told me til closing.

Got out of that fucking line as soon as possible. It was weird though because you could play the game at other booths, this was just so you could get in an arwing cockpit and get a pin. Ended up playing the game at a smaller booth at the end of the day ( the rep told me I completed the demo faster than anyone he's seen).

We thought Nintendo was crazy to dedicate their entire booth to one game but little did we know that they were doing these people a service by providing more Zelda demo stations....and lines were still 4 hours long!

8 hours wait causes that. Imagine if they hadn't devoted all of the resources to Zelda. If they had Paper Mario, Pokemon, and others playable people would have missed Zelda regardless of how long they waited.

Wow, I mean....I loved the trailer and gameplay I saw online, but I wouldn't run to wait on a long line to play the game. But this does indicate that Nintendo really took everyone by surprise with this new Zelda adventure.

I do wonder though, will people run out to get Wii U's after E3 thanks to Zelda, or just wait until the NX comes out some point next year and get Zelda on that.

Either way, Nintendo has a hit and hopefully people are happy with the final game.
