Am I the only one who thinks the console versions look pretty good for console games? Not comparing them to the PC version at all, but I think the game looks more solid than Crysis 2. LoD setting looks similar to Crysis 2, though actual pop in seems to be improved, I didn't notice as many objects just randomly popping in on my screen. Am I mistaken or has OBMB been taken out as well? AF looks to be set to 4x and the new SMAA is a huge improvement over TAA in Crysis 2.
Overall it looks like they dialed some on the post process effects, hoping for better performance. Outside of moments with a lot of alpha effects on the screen, I don't remember many performance issues on Crysis 2, so it's hard for me to compare. Plus judging performance with an online match can get a bit fuzzy.
I'm really curious to see how the campaign looks and runs now.
Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but both armor and cloak do run off the same energy meter.
They don't share the same meter anymore on Crash Site. And I prefer it this way (seems much more balanced and less cumbersome).
