Hogwarts Legacy is nice. I bought it on Switch and it was downgraded to hell and back making it borderline unplayable. I enjoyed what I played though so looking forward to this.

I think I saw Final Fantasy 7 remake footage in one of the tiles during the show. i think thats is also coming to switch 2.

I wonder if Hogwarts will have an upgrade path, I'm also wondering how much these upgraded games are going to cost if you own the originals.

Cyberpunk with Ray Tracing?

All that footage ran like absolute dogwater. Games like Cyberpunk and Elden Ring are going to be a disaster on this thing.

if they can make 2077 run smoothly while looking good on the Switch2, good for them
cyberpunk 2077 can be run smoothly while looking decent (for 1080p standards) on a 1050ti 4 GB. problem was always the horrible CPU and HDD base consoles had. the game ran mostly fine at launch on any budget CPU back in 2020 with a low end SATA SSD

switch 2 should have a decent CPU that is more powerful than PS4?

1080p gaming will look horrible to people that are used to playing at 1440p/4K. it should look great on switch 2 and on 1080p screens

if it supports dlss 4 it will be incredible. just not for people that are looking at it on their 1440p/4K screens. games they showed looked great on my 1080p screen

lol yea, I'm not buying Switch 2 to replay a bunch of games on the worst settings.

So basically I'm just getting this day 1 for Bravely Default remaster.....

I'll absolutely rebuy most of these games to play them portably. I'm absolutely stoked!

May I introduce you to Steam Deck?
Have one, I'm not a huge fan. I take my Switch everywhere and connect it to TVs to play with friends, and it's a WAY easier experience than setting up a Steam Deck with wireless controllers and trying to sort all that shit up. I used to try that, but it's just an annoying headache. I value seamlessness.

I really really wanna see a full comparison for Cyberpunk2077 S2 version against all other systems, it's going to be wild 😂

1080p is fine, especially if graphical fidelity is (very) high.

But what are the Switch 2 specs? If they're closer to PS4 than PS5, I don't see a game like Cyberpunk or Hogwarts being very impressive. Unless talking relative to the hardware.
