Do tech weapon perks stack? for instance, if I am using a tech shotgun, does it benefit from both the tech weapon perks under the technical attribute and the shotgun perks under body attribute?

so i just did the
parade side quest where you take out the snipers to get to hanako
and on the next meeting with her the game tells me that i should finish all the side quests and stuff. am i already on the final mission? i was just starting to get into the story and i don't remember doing that much before, just a bunch of walking, talking, hanging out with
takemura
. i was just starting to get into the story.

People saying "I experience no bugs, my game works perfect," I am sorry but I flat out don't believe you. I think you're lying.

I love the game, it's the best looking game I have played on PC by far, but the bugs are starting to just kill the immersion too often for me. Might need a break for awhile while it cooks longer.

50 hours (PC on Ultra):

Gameplay:
- one bug where i couldn't get out of photomode
- in Tiger Claw underground casino one of the Claws got into warning mode while i talked to him (but he didn't attack me)

Graphical:
- Jackie gun instead of shard in prologue cutscene

Literally that is everything i experienced when it comes to bugs. This is far less buggy than pretty much any open world game i have played in last 20 years. The only thing that annoys me is when NPC drive and i am passanger, their driving is incredible stiff and goes against law of physics and clearly is scripted with hammer instead of hammer.

I have no doubt that other people have bugs but this is highly random from looks of it. Once game will get patched those bugs this will be 10/10 game and with expansions 13/10.

I simply can't believe how fucking good game is and how this world sucks you in. Guns are masterpiece of shooters, cars are awesome and driving physics is awesome, characters are something you will remember for decades.

Gen X

Trust no one. Eat steaks.
Man, 20 hrs put into it and I'm still only level 12. I end up just running around on foot, doing the odd good dead or side quest. I think I've only done a couple of main missions since the opening act ended. I'm a little scared the game will end if I dive into the story.

Jackie gun instead of shard in prologue cutscene
Yeah, I've had that one recently ( scene in the car, where he pulls a gun out of his head)..they're using this live gameplay scene system, tbh I expected a lot more ( of these bugs). Fallout 4 had something similar and way more simple, but it was buggy as hell and hilarious at times ( like a Deathclaw showing up in the middle of conversation).
From my experience, on pc, you're absolutely good to go.

I wish I knew this before I dismantled all my iconics

I don’t even think iconic parts exist?
Hmm, I think you can craft them again, remember reading something like that in the tutorial at the beginning of the game. Although I don't know for sure, as I always put everything iconic into the trunk of my car.

I’ll just collect them on my second play through

still looking for a decent shotgun in the game

I’ve gotten 1000 badass pistols that I dismantled and not a single decent shotgun

If I recall correctly, every time you loot an iconic weapon, you automatically learn the recipe, but think you need to invest in crafting perks to make it(uncommon, rare, epic and legendary). dont think there is a basic version.

as some said have crashes in game i dont have and didint had any rly, so maybe its from those higher settings and RT effects more.
finding all kind of weapons in game many shotguns pistol and auto guns with knifes katanas and other melle weapons its kinda good balance here im happy for what im getting from loot .
i just need to stop playing it as shooter for most times now, its kinda too much shooting is it ? yes you can hack cameras and other stuff, but for defeating enemies you either sneaking to them and grabbing or you just shoot them well or slice with sharp blades so still action style gamapley , but how else it could be played then ? i remember istarted game with kinda slow style more stealth and now im like yh bring it on no time to hide.

Everytime you get iconic weapon you get recipe, so you can recraft them though i think it requires perk first. Perks are pretty easy to get so it is not huge issue.

I have high crafting. Some of the legendary parts are hard to come by tho (off the top of my head, I think legendary upgrade parts are a bitch to get)

I have like 3000 common crafting parts

It takes 18 attribute points in tech to craft legendaries, not just perks

unless people are going with a tech build (which I happen to be doing), they won’t be crafting some iconics as for some reason the blueprints are for their legendary form

edit: I’m going off memory here, I could be wrong

edit 2: the iconics might actually just be rare craftables, which still takes decent tech

About 20 hours in and I should have invested more in int and tech earlier I think. It's crazy how easy some hacking can make encounters. Had another weird bug that I called my vehicle, and instead came a vehicle I don't actually own lol. After re-starting the game it was back to normal though.

WTf is resetera? This is my opionon on this overhyped piece of shit game. You must be a supa dupa fanboy.. Get off CD"s NUTS and accept the fact its a huge steaming turd of a game.

Now go back and play mario kart or whatever you think is the pinnacle of gaming and leave the adults in peace :p

oh thank god. what was that thing about finishing all the side stuff before going in then? usually in games that point of no return thing happens before the last mission

I haven´t finished it myself so I can´t speak on that. But I had the same mission two days ago and the story continues. At least in my playthrough.

I am happy I am in no hurry to play this.
I can wait till I get my PS5, which will take a while.

I am sure this will be a great game after a few patches.

dont think blueprints have levels. once you know blueprints, it is unlocked for all levels, but you need the perks to craft at the specific level desired, so like you said, you would need 18 point in technical, and a perk perk invested in the perk that allows to craft legendaries

also, i found the easiest way to get legenday components is from access terminals. specifically the version 3 daemons

EDIT: I just remember from a video I was watching yesterday, some iconics such as lizzie's gun, dont have a legendary version. they cap out at like purple or blue

You should definitely complete all the important sidequests that can influence the ending before that mission. After that you are full steam ahead, there are still a lot of things to do there, but the open world is closed, and what you have is what you get in the end.

No rtx reflections for your character is on purpose because it tanked performance.

And yes the mirror is a bug

Oh NoEz oNlY 70% cOmpLeTe 😖😖😖😖

I'll say this... both sides have relevant points. I got a ways in on one char and my experience was fucking sublime. I decided to start over, though, this time go Corpo... I'm 5 hours in and let me tell you... I've gotten like literally every bug I've seen anyone complain about on this run. This is like a rogue-like game except the thing that's random is how fucking buggy your run is. Still loving it, bugs never ruined a game for me.

How can I tell which side missions are actual proper side missions if that makes any sense? Far too many times I go to markers and it's like a boss fight or something more like a random encounter.

You can't really. Even that multi-part boss fight side mission gets more involved and has you doing investigations with Keanu popping up. You don't really know how involved it's going to be until you start doing the job.

For those interested, I've been looking around and it seems by current count, there are about 33 main missions, 68 side jobs, 86 gigs and 156 police scanner jobs. That's quite a lot of content. I was quite surprised to find that even the blue police jobs have some backstory to them like you would find in a Fallout location.

greed for short term holiday sales probably.

I'm 25 hours in, About to start main quest where it warns you that you can't return to do side quests. I regret putting 13 points into Intelligence, I haven't seen anywhere where having 13 points into it would benefit me. I think I would have been better off putting atleast 10 into Body and 10 into Tech(?). I want to 100% this game but still have no idea if I need to start another save.
You nees Intelligenz for the best cyber mods those that give you 25% crit chance and 50%crit dmg

But don't waste the other points there

For people who completed the game at the hardest difficulty, is there a point in the game when the difficulty finally ramps up? like arriving in a particular zone in the game or something like that.

I can deal with the bugs etc for various reasons during development - but a couple of things that I find seriously unpleasant: a shit-ton of drinks that pretty much all do the same thing, yet fill up your inventory like crazy - and a shit-ton of shards which I constantly collect but never read.

The shards really baffle me man..why so many!??!?
