I feel like the reviews are taking issues with how certain groups aren't portrayed in a realistic or even respectful light, which is why I think it's appropriate to point out and critique. Cyberpunk is a world about transhumanism and whatnot, so for the game to view trans people primarily in an aesthetic or pornographic light, then the game doesn't do a good job at portraying them within the context of the world. There should be some nuance when depicting minority/marginalized people in a world like Night City, and CP2077's getting criticized for not doing that, and I think that's fair criticism.
Believe me big boy if this game had some underlying thesis about how trans people can only survive in a high-tech setting that requires the exploitation of subject primitive populations by an imperial center... your panties wouldn't be a pretty sight.
