Yeah, that works fine on Medium. Hard is where break it down starts to help most.

Wow. Just did Toxic on break it down (hard). It went on forever, there are so many moves!

Still, I went from barely three stars to a sliver off five so it was probably worth the effort. :)

Edit - Yay, finished crew challenge on hard. 5 starring them all will be quite another story as I got 4 stars on all bar about 5 of them

Just a quick question. I have dance central 1 and really don't play it enough to buy the sequel. However my little one LOVES party rock anthem, and was wondering does the song work on dance central 1 or am I out of luck?

wait Party Rock Anthem was released as DLC? I believe DLC released after Nov/Oct of last year is incompatible with DC1

Last night I unlocked everyone's street outfits on easy, got the achievement for that as well as playing every song on the disc.

I then went into free play and tried a song on Medium, it was either Kylie Minogue or Jungle Boogie, I can't remember, but I proceeded to get my arse handed to me. I got like 2 stars. I played a song or two on Medium before but this was my first real attempt. I then picked Satisfaction from DC1 and utilized Break it Down mode. Got some achievements tied to it and then went on to 5 star the song, felt so good I played it again. Medium feels more satisfying than Easy does. I compare it to Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan on the DS; how the easy difficulties don't even feel like they're going along with the beat cuz they're so slow.

I'm really looking forward to playing more tracks on Medium, I'll probably just free play it from now on because I don't really feel like doing the Crew Challenge. I hope I don't have to use Break it Down for every single song, though...

I'm LTTP and just ordered a Kinect. Is there a consensus winner between DC2 and Just Dance 3? Has DC3 been announced?

Does anybody know if there's any regional differences between the Marketplace (and DLC) on different versions of Dance Central?

I live in Brazil, and I have Dance Central 1 that came built in with a locally sold Kinect. The game seems the same to me, and I think all the songs that came out in the US store are available on the marketplace (both my 360 and Live account are american ones).

I'm going to purchase Dance Central 2, but I want a sealed copy (so I can use the "transfer songs" voucher, if a Dance Central 3 comes out). The game sold locally is as cheap as a sealed one + shipping from the US, so I'm just thinking about buying it here.

Are there any region-locks between GAME REGIONS (independent of live account location)? I think I heard something about US and Euro versions of Rock Band, but I think the versions we get down here in Brazil are the exact same ones as the US versions of games, except when they are special versions with specific dubbed voice overs, which Dance Central isn't.

There's a demo for each on the marketplace, download and play both to see which you like better. It's hands down DC2 for me; Just Dance is more... casual

Thanks, guys. I grabbed DC2 and it's so good but my knees are burning! Ugh... and I can't nail Claws on medium for the life of me, after a lengthy breakdown session. Might need to grab the Kinect TV mount too.

Are the DC1 song import codes single-use? Can anyone spare? =)

I played Bass Down Low and You Make Me Feel at PAX, they were awesome! Yeah, the choreography is getting really awesome/insane for some of these songs.

I would make it but I have no idea what kind of stuff should be included. :<

Also I've only got 3 songs left to 5 star on Hard for the Glitterati: Born This Way, Toxic, and Oops. I've gotten like 4.96 stars, but I'm always just barely short of 5, haha. I've still got 20-ish stars to go in every other crew. Then I just need to win 20 dance battles and ill have gotten all the achievements! :D

So apparently there is a sale going on in preparation for the new release. This is a good opportunity to buy new songs and increase your repertoire, which I unfortunately did a couple weeks ago :( . Oh my god today has been productive. I've five starred every song on Expert except for You're a Jerk and I Wish For You. FUCK THOSE SONGS. You're A Jerk isn't too bad, except I need all the points I can get, and Kinect isn't picking up my movement when I do The Reject (the move that's sort of like the reverse running man)

jl;kfjasl;kfj kfja;ksfja SO CLOSE. I just need to beat Hi-Def and then 20 battles.

I'm just starting dancing on hard but I remember reading somewhere about this issue, maybe this "the reject" tutorial can help you.
