Anyone else having problems with this achievement?

Look Ma, No Flashcards!
Perform a song with Flashcards turned off and earn 5 stars.

I've 5 starred it 3 times on Easy with no Flash Cards, but I'm not unlocking the achievement.

Add me, Phreaker, if you wanna Friend List compete!

I would have bought DC with the Kinect sensor as its peripheral and not have been disappointed. Anything else I enjoy with the Kinect is just a bonus. An online Dance Battle mode would make a really nice addition!

Showoff!

:p

On a different note, I'm very disappointed there's no online mode for this game.

I was actually able to do it on Easy and get the achievement. Added you!

I'm getting the hang of this thing. 5 Starred my first song on Hard (gotta love Kylie Minogue).

Hahahahaha! That was awesome! YouTube is going to get more and more entertaining with these vids. :lol

Seconded! It was mesmerizing watching the girl on the right. She was getting her groove on! :D

This is nuts. B-A-N-A-N-A nuts!

My wife unlocked something like 7 Achievements in 1 minute or so on Hard. Er, she's pretty good. I look like I've got two left feet and a right foot up my ass. lol. ... :(

This deserves to sell millions. Fuggin' awesome. I wonder if they'll add vocals and dancing to the next iteration?

Any idea where the photos that DC takes during gameplay are saved? It's not in the dashboard photo library, or the dance central game file in the hard drive, nor is there an option to view photos in the dance central game menu. WHERE THE ARE THEY?!
Yeah I reapply Wang to know. They are saved somewhere right?

Now that is awesome - except for the freestyle section, they are all almost perfectly choreographed, and that song looks hard.

:lol

That Freestyle section was amazing. Like tentative, dancing zombies. So awesome.

And yeah, that song is so fun.

"Movin Like Berney" is getting an official single release next year, nationwide. I have high hopes.
If "Movin Like Berney" is gettin released there is now no excuse...

Just one, actually. I don't think that was a Dance Battle. They just switched after the Freestyle.

Thanks. I knew Kinect couldn't possibly be tracking all of them but didn't know if the whole front row was out of the question. Looks like a blast regardless of scoring.

Anyone know what the code on the back of the manual is for? Says hang on to this code to keep on dancin'. I tried redeeming it in the guide but it wasn't the right length and came back as invalid. Bought it at amazon if it matters.

probably an export for dance central 2 or something?

This game is a lot of fun. Me and my girlfriend played it for about 2 hours yesterday. Dance battles and photos are the best parts. My only problem with the game is that it can be pretty punishing even on Easy, also there are too few songs and venues (DLC i know i know)

Not that I've heard.
I hope it blows up and we get pretty regular DLC. You know when something is huge on GAF/The Internet and then you find out it sold 10,000 copies? I hope this isn't that. :lol

If they follow the Rock band road, DLC should come out every week. If they want a chance of becoming a rival to Just Dance, it will be content that will help them along the way.

DC is awesome but I still think DC2 with better Multiplayer and online modes will rule the world. :D

If I remember correctly, they already said we shouldn't be expecting weekly DLC as it requires a lot more work creating unique routines for each song. Personally, I can see this becoming a monthly thing.

I could live with 3-6 tracks monthly. Kinda presumed/hoped it was gonna be monthly anyway. Especially if we get several new moves with each song, which I really hope is the case.

"Teach Me How To Jerk" is so amazing. And totally refutes the whole "No one really dances like this" argument. I could absolutely get that shit down and bring it to a party or a club. It's totally bona fide rad.

To those that have played both how does this compare to Just Dance?
Haven't played the second JD but the accuracy is a world of difference. My wife's cousin was playing JD by shaking the controller like a Maraca and it was registering correctly. The song selection (in my opinion) is superior here, and they are done by the original artists. The moves are actual moves as opposed to the dated/joke moves you are required to do in JD.

How accurate is the camera? Does it really require you to mimic the moves or can you just fudge it?

The camera looks at your limbs mostly, so its kinda hard to trick it. There are probably some ways to trick it, but looking at the leaderboards, i'd say no since there are only a small amount of people with the top scores...

Very cool. I think I might have to get this for the wife. Thanks for the info.

There's no failure, but it constantly reds parts of my limbs even on Easy so I don't think you can fudge it, no.

Can you fudge Just Dance? How does it work?

Pretty easy to mess with JD. Many tracks you can pass with some random waving of the remote. My 5 year old niece can happily worth through the songs without actually having to stand up. :lol
