I didn't really have a new game in my budget this month, but I couldn't resist DC, since I've been pining for it since E3; Harmonix <3. At least we already had a Kinect and I needed real motivation to work out. So far DC is serving that purpose well. I have pretty much been playing until my muscles don't obey so well every day.

I've beaten 10 songs on Medium w/o flashcards and not gotten the achievement. Also beat 10 songs with a Break-It down % of over 80. Anyone else having trouble with these? Oh, and:

'Just Dance' is labelled at the hardest song in the game, whereas I found it to be one of the easiest. Whereas 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' for example, is a PAIN IN THE ASS even on Easy.

I do not agree. Just Dance's routine has way more routines, and more complex ones at that. Evacuate the Dancefloor, on the other hand, is just brilliant! I'll never tire of the dig 'em (or whatever it's called) routine.

Its not like she is a bad dancer, plus I am horrible. She was really looking forward to this game, but now she is completely frustrated by it and doesn't want to play. PLEASE HELP ME!!

try to calibrate for lag under options if you haven't. then try to go to break it down mode and select the slow option after missing the move the first time. should take care of it if it's takecareofable

I will try the lag thing but even in the break it down mode it doesnt track her. Then it slows down by itself after she misses the move 3-4 times. Then in slow mode it continues to not track her.

Again, for me no problems. I'm starting to think my wife isn't real...:lol

Is it detecting her in the menu/setup?

Possibly a silly question but I know you can't jump in and out of the game unless you're in multiplayer.

I'm a pretty active person and this game keeps me sweating. I don't know that it's a good substitute cardio, but it's a good starting point for anyone interested in getting fit.

2 days with this so far, fucking awesome. I'm a pretty capable dancer when it comes to hip hop / dance tracks, 5 starred most stuff on easy and working on medium now.

This game continues to be a hit with me and my hardcore gaming friends. And I'll be damned if the soundtrack isn't burrowing into my brain like a parasite. I am not a fan of club music (blues fan here), but the songs are catchy and so much fun to dance to!

And my body is hating me so hard from the Dance Central marathon me and friends had last night. :|

I really tried tonight, but I swear the game isn't detecting some movements. The ending move of the 2nd blazer step, right at the beginning of Poker Face, kills me EVERY TIME! The thing is that I always think I do it right, and I can't see where I'm screwing up (I do the first one with no problem).
