Tomorrow's Thursday, who is excited for another episode? I am! I forgot how much of a pain in the ass waiting weekly for an episode is, I haven't done this in ages.

Watched the first episode. I think I should have liked it more than I did. Might be on me. I think I'm traumatized by hyper expressive, unsubtle productions in the Studio Trigger style that turn out to be very boring. Unlike Studio Trigger productions though (with the exception of Edgerunners; that show was cool), I sensed a spark of life from this one. I'm up for another episode.

It has a great premise. My only issue is the excessive sexual inuendo. It largely seems inappopriate. Like if I take it out, it wouldn't change anything.

Look I'm a fellow pervert and I love those stuff but in this case it seems out of place. I guess the only connection I could see is that they're hormone filled teenagers.

Loved the new episode. The music choice had me marking out. Such a shame it wasn't part of the theatre showing.

Man it has been fun going through the early chapters again with the anime.

Chapter 4 was great, you could maybe see the budget being stretched a bit thin at some points but overall it was a good adaptation

I just hope the anime studio keep working on season 2. They did such a great job with Dandadan.

I don't think they could do a 24 episodes in 1 season with same quality as season 1 though. 12 episodes is fine, and the manga is only at chapter 172.

Man, the first half of episode 5 irritated me. My least favorite trope is when people are looking for each other but barely missing each other multiple times. The ending half had me dying laughing. Turbo granny is one of my favorite characterss.

And no it's not waifu anime. Dandadan, a romcom disguised as a battle shonen that manages to be one of the best romcoms and battle shonens out there.

Started reading the manga due to the show's hype and it's pretty incredible

So well drawn. Looks beautiful. Really emotional too sometimes.

I'm at an arc rn where shit really hits the fan, similar to something like Shibuya on JJK, and it's been incredible
