Big Possible Spoilers. Might not be spoilers but a theory just popped into my head.
GOD DAMMIT Nagito is goddamn Makoto isn't he!?! I'm so used to this from 999 series and I can't believe I didn't notice it before, but Nagito Komaeda is very close enough to being a perfect anagram of Makoto Naegi outside of an "D" and an extra "A". I was always a little suspicious with how Makoto's haircut looked in the funny alternate future ending in the first game, but this seems even more suspicious to me.
I also know nothing about the game, and thought this was blatantly obvious, to the point where it's intentional (ie, they WANT you to think that as you play the game). The fact that
he is the "Ultimate Lucky Student, which is what Makoto was in the first game until the end
that he is wearing the same hoodie that Makoto wears in the first game

I'm kinda miffed this isn't coming out this week, so I would have Labor Day off from work to play it as well. I know it's Madden day, but I feel i'm one of maybe 10 people on the planet who is hyped for both Madden and Danganronpa!
DR1 had the advantage of coming out in a super shitty February for snow, to the point where we closed at least once a week, which was super helpful in finishing that in time.
Mine was basically a prediction/realization, but I just put it in spoiler tags just incase I actually guessed something right somehow haha.

Local store near me got it in last Wednesday and I've been anxious for the thread to pop up to discuss, but I guess there aren't a lot of people playing yet.
My biggest question thus far: to get the coin trophy I'm supposed to not spend any coins, which means I have to evolve social links slowly without presents like last time... right? Or am I missing something? (Let me know if any of this is worth spoiler tagging, but feels like it's pretty straight forward.)

Stores are already getting it in? I sure hope that the NISA store is a little more on the ball with shipping this one versus DR1. I had to wait a week after launch.
This was my theory from the start.
They just look really, really similar and when he's introducing you to people on the island he acts the most familiar with Byakuya, even though they supposedly just met.
It was actually perfect timing because I was recovering from a concussion and playing anything on the big TV was messing with my head, so to have something to play on the go in smaller bursts has been ideal.

Hell yeah, one more week! Hoping my LE will arrive as quickly as the one for the first game. So enjoyable playing the game, posting impressions/reactions, & finally being able to read reactions from other members. Really glad I'm able to go into both games with very little info & nothing spoiled for me.
Now I just hope the OST will have a decent track list. I was disappointed when none of the Discussion tracks were on there, save for one remix.

CHARACTERS I LIKE:
Interesting to see that almost everyone has liked Ibuki so far just based off looks and ultimate description alone. I still say Teruteru is pretty suspect lol.
Ibuki just looks cool and perky and aaaah. Even if she turns out to be a killer or the Mastermind (though I don't believe either of those will happen), I will still back her, just like I did Celeste in the first game.
It'll fill the hole in my heart from not getting the Neptunia LE.
Plus I like when games come in boxes.

So I assume it'd be for the best to not check out the artbook until I finish the game? & while the OST didn't really have any spoiler titles unless you REALLY analyzed it, I'll probably be care as to not listen to any tracks that're part of the executions since the sound effects were left in the previous LE OST.
