I didn't even bother with looking for a song that's not on the OST (Mr. Monokuma After Class) on YouTube because I didn't want to risk the spoilers. I guess that's what happens when a game not only has been out in Japan for some time, but had that fan translation as well.

I was equally fooled, but it's not nearly as much as of a shock these days. I think the motivation behind it was a little implausible, but it wasn't too poorly executed or anything. It certainly shook things up.
This happened to me a ton of times with Game of Thrones. A random non-TV-related art blog I follow had a picture with a banner that said

The reason why DanganRonpa spoilers are so bad is because the fan translation was released 6 months before the official release. You had a lot of people play that, fall in love with the game, and start wanting to discuss the plot and post fanart everywhere. And since it was only 6 months ago, it hasn't really died down yet.

It was also cause the anime started airing around the time so that was another (poorly done) way for people to experience the plot.
The second game should be better unless an anime gets announced for it...
Of course tumblr is a spoiler-minefield regardless of which game you look up.
Just finished case 1. Spoilery thoughts below.
So I had been accidentally spoiled that Junko died in case 1, so I mistakenly thought she was the murder victim for the case. So when the game kept pushing me toward Sayaka, I thought, "It would be horrible if she were the victim, but I know it's Junko, so Sayaka is clearly safe." NOPE. Sayaka's dead. Inadvertent gut punch.
Man, that was disappointingly predictable. IMMEDIATELY when the question of (ch. 1 + 2 spoilers)
"how did Chihiro gain access to the boys room?" was asked, I knew that she was actually a he. Practically as predictable as the 11037 "twist" in case 1.
Thankfully, not much else has been that predictable so far.
Well....that was an ending. I thought the way Chapter 1 "ended" was strange enough, but Chapter 2's was.....
Of course, I've still got quite amount of the game left, so things might change.
kind of silly. Riding those cage balls with a motorcycle to the point you literally melt? Okay. Maybe the actual murders and Zero Escape: VLR has made me less likely to find these creepy or whatever. Though I guess they're more among the lines of dark humor. I'm finding them really...I guess "surreal".

I knew that if I started playing around with the 11037, I would eventually come up with some sort of indication of who the killer was, but I let it by and just rolled with the punches.
I actually thought that the locker rooms had some sort of hidden lever or something that rotated the layout of the boy's locker room with that of the girl's locker room, and that Chihiro had been unintentionally hung on the equipment from the boy's room. It just seemed a bit implausible that the equipment that Chihiro was suspended on was also moved (it looks heavy) so I just figured there was a trick to it.

Sure it's cartoony, but it's pretty horrifying to think about.
The speed at which Mondo had to be going for him to become a liquid is ridiculous, and it wouldn't happen all at once. That means he at least partially felt it as his bones, organs and skin all began to liquefy. Could you imagine how painful that must be? And to add insult to injury, his corpse is placed in a small butter carton that mocks his very existence.
I'd say that's all pretty fucked up.
Take them to the school store to buy gifts to give out during your free time sessions.
You use them at the Monokuma vending machine at the student store. It unlocks presents, which you can give to your fellow students to improve relationships with them.
EDIT: Ninja'd. Kyoko is once again too fast for me.
Does giving gifts increase the chance of the person liking your interaction, resulting in more info about their past and a new skill or skill point? Some interactions took multiple free time tries to unlock the next dialogue.
Also, why was the fan translation released when the game was coming out a few months later? It could hurt sales, especially since it is so easy to emulate/pirate PSP games.

The translation was completed and released before the game was even announced for localization.
Speaking of, has NISA's announcement happened yet?
Supposed to be sometime tonight so just a few more hours.
I honestly can't even remember the game telling me that. I don't think there was a proper tutorial.

Seems likely with all the merchandise and figures that were announced earlier this month at WonFes. And they did basically tease something about it at the end of the first anime.
Should be happening tonight. So let's say it starts in about 5 more hours at the earliest.
My favorite sprite of hers. Kyoko is such a cool character.

That's probably not a bad way of doing things, but I certainly don't have the patience for it. I would rather blaze through the game. I haven't seen the anime myself, but you also run the risk of them mentioning something earlier than in the game or going too far.

Not a bad thing. The anime is a decent Cliffnotes version of it and it isn't bad to see things somewhat animated.
Nah, the anime does a very good job of having the chapters end at an episode and not overflow into another chapter. Most of the time, the execution is the last thing you'll see in an episode anyway.

Not surprising, Super Danganronpa's 2 porn is slightly more spoilers happy.
Yeah, same here. I wouldn't even mind if there was at least an update saying it's still stuck in the vast Southwest unknown or something.
