Dark Souls 3 Pre-Load on Steam is online

I preloaded last night but I actually want it on my SSD. I don't know whether to repreload or to use Steam Mover when it's out. I've never used Steam Mover, is it reliable enough to avoid redownloading?

In the past without using any other tool, I just moved the folder of the game to the equivalent path in the new SSD/HDD (which already has a SteamLibrary game)

Then I uninstall from Steam and say to reinstall in the new drive. Steam will verify that there are files already present and keep the downloaded files.

Yeah cdkeys is sweet for some games. Personally I just didnt mind paying $80 for the deluxe version plus peace of mind.
I hope they come through for everyone by 6

I've used it on dozens of games flawlessly. It should work fine, I'm not sure how it handles preloads. you might wanna wait until it unlocks then move it, as it'd only take a couple minutes to move. Or just go for it

Thanks guys! I think I'll just do the move/uninstall trick for now, as it seems to be the quickest way to go about it.

It wasn't until this morning at work that I realised I have tomorrow off. I think I know what I'm going to spend 12 hours doing...

All you need to do is create a depotcache folder in the SteamApps directory of the Steam library folder on your SSD and move the data over, as well as the appmanifest_374320.acf file. Let's say you've pre-loaded the game to C:\Steam but want to move it to D:\Steam Games:

- Create a depotcache folder in D:\Steam Games\SteamApps
- Move the data in C:\Steam\SteamApps\depotcache to D:\Steam Games\SteamApps\depotcache
- Move C:\Steam\SteamApps\appmanifest_374320.acf to D:\Steam Games\SteamApps

cdkeys:

" We are currently updating our website and expect to be back online shortly, please try again later."

sounds like it's HAPPENING

Got this in the mail today - just in time for preloading.

You're a gem. And I swear you've helped me with something in the past too. Good man.

They're just buying time to pack their money into suitcases and get on the boat to their safe island before anyone finds out.

It's just an "under maintenance" type of message, the website is getting a lot of hits and is down :(

Just received my key from GMG and entered it in the console tab but I don't see anything about the key I entered. Did I do something wrong? lol

Edit: I entered in licenses_print and the license I entered in today comes back as: Purchased : Mon Apr 11 09:00:20 2016 in "US", CD Key
Thanks. I'll be honest, I totally expected it to be "PL" or something.

So I bought my key from Gamesplanet UK and I remember for The Division that my game unlocked earlier, maybe because it was a UK key, chances of it happening here?

Thanks. I'll be honest, I totally expected it to be "PL" or something.

"[CC]" isn't the country the key is tied to but rather the country of purchase/activation. It'd only say "PL" if you activated the key with a Polish IP.

Well fuck man, us Europeans are fucked. The game unlocks at midnight here, and I have to work tomorrow. So I won't be able to play it for another fucking day.

Yup. Unlock time is 1 am for me, but I don't have work tomorrow so... maybe I'll get some Souls on before bed.

Assuming the game unlocks exactly as the countdown ends, and the launch is smooth.

@cdkeyscom
We have encountered some technical issues on our website. We aim to have the site operational and all orders fully accessible within an hour

I have to work a stupid 4 hour shift at 3 so I'm okay with cdkeys taking more time, I'm sure they'll have it up by the time I get home. Oh and I have great download speed it'll be done in under 20 minutes most likely.
Definitely worth the $29 for me.

Plenty of time left, I even prefer to not preload because my internet is super fast anyway, and decrypting the files takes longer than downloading it I noticed. Hopefully we'll get the keys soon though.

Page just loaded...
This product is a Pre-Order, it will be available here on or slightly before the release date of 12th April 2016.
No keys.

Game pre-loading and unlocks at one, work tomorrow but I am feeling sick.

It's like the universe telling me to take a day off.

Who am I to go against the universe.

Ok.

its happening

@ThaAppleMan We have the keys in stock now so when the site is back online, you would be able to access your order
