The intermittent input lags seems to happen more often compared to PS3.

Speaking of Game Save Manager, will it automatically find the save file(s) for Dark Souls or will I have to manually navigate to the folder(s)? And if so, where are they located?

I've never used GSM.

I just remember someone talking about a different GFWL game and how it had two different folders with files that needed backed up and GSM didn't backup the second one. I was just curious if Dark Souls was like that.

You need manually set it to backup C:\Users\<whatever>\Documents\NBGI\DarkSouls (Win 7). I think that's enough.

edit: nevermind, just update the database and it should automatically locate it.

That's THE clicking point in the game. Tons of people have said the same thing. If every person who gave up on the game had just made it that far, they would have stayed with it.....

It makes me so giddy to see new and players find stuff out or triumph over a struggle. This doesn't happen with me for any other game. Anyone having a hard time, you will get into the groove of the game. I remember even after beating some bosses 5 times, with certain builds I had to rethink my strategies several times.

That's exactly what happens to me. Being summoned only takes a couple minutes, but summoning other people seems impossible for me later in the game. I'm currently waiting in the Painted World of Ariamis to get a few signs, but after 20minutes I guess there is something wrong.

I don't even know how you can even play this game on consoles after seeing the performance and fidelity of the pc version.

Same here, summoning people fails more often than not. I had the same problems in the console version. It's a real shame the online isn't as good as Demon's Souls.

I broke my broken sword trying to beat him with my Pyromancer. I got him down to 10%...

That could be because the person you are trying to summon walked out of range of you before you finished summoning them.

I tried but it didn't work a single time. guess I wasn't lucky.

Wait like 5 seconds each time so your friend has enough time to tell you if he saw it before you put another one and reset your lobby again.

Oh, and of course, the host has to be alive for this to work. Only living characters can summon, not zombie ones.

Most of the players will go to the new content instead of invading is my guess. Was doing painted worlds 1 hour ago and got invaded by the same guy twice.
But yeah, the getting invaded at all time factor is not really here at this time.

Yes, don't even try. If you don't have a gamepad, basically fucked.

Using a gamepad and the dsfix basically fixes everything technically wrong with the port, but if you don't have those, it's pretty bad.
