I confused by this thread. People actually think it's good news that Goyer is writing the new Superman film?

Since when has Goyer been considered a good writer? He's last two films were The Unborn and Jumper (he had only a story credit for The Dark Knight). He has also written such classics as the Blade trilogy, Nick Fury: Agent of Shield and The Crow: City of Angels. Only scripts by him I would actually consider good are Batman Begins and Dark City and in both of those films he was guided by a strong writer-director.

He would be *great* as Supes. Man. So good.

But Don Draper is too cool to play Clark.

Catch him on season 2 or 3 of 30 Rock, because that's essentially the role he plays.

Superman is probably the hardest character to cast, even more so now with no Routh(Who only needed to bulk up to tell you the truth).
