Why is a game pondering to a very small % of people instead of using the resource to improve the game across the board? Do they have voice acting? Imagine the money spend on recording all the they/them lines.
This is dumb and the only reason I can think of that they do this is they're just assholes.

Yeah as long as the game is actually great then it's passable although it's rare for them to be. I'll say Elder Scrolls VI would be the next mega game that'll be extremely successful no matter how much it gets trashed since Elder Scrolls is always about a great epic immersive adventure sim with lots of choices, options, and modding.

To me inthink maybe somewhere around 2010(?) I took a guess, gaming changed. Maybe it was earlier or later. It it seems gaming in the 80s and 90s and even 2000s the games were made by people who truly loved games. Not political. Skilled techno geeks where you see photos and you can tell they're the geeky kind of people who grew up playing DND or C64 and are making games from the heart. Not a money grab. Not personal issues and politics going into a game. Just people who love games and have the technical kill to make it.
I dont care about what agenda they have, they can put their beliefs or politics in their game all they want thats their choice. All I care about is end product.
The irony is that Dragon Age has always been a franchise championing diversity in its characters and romances. I think generally it was well received as those elements were organically and believably implemented in previous games. Veilguard just completely ruined the reputation.

I agree and disagree with this. I think people like Grummz and Endymion are very much anti-woke like a lot of people are. But I would classify them in the extreme fringe of the anti-woke, which does way more harm than good. Both are lolcows like Boogie and Jim Sterling are.
Never heard of Grummz and Endymion until recently and not interested in looking them up but Asmon always seem chill, sane, lay back, and down to Earth. The only thing bad I see about him from others is that he's dirty which is honestly super minor compared to the actual insane folks he's against. Boogie I remember from a long time ago during the days of Keemstar, Leafyishere, Joey Salads, Idubz etc etc but don't know much about him besides he's a really fat guy. Jim Sterling I found out during my days on Gamefaqs and yeah could already tell his a psychopath clown at first glance. But I also thought he was doing a funny crossdressing parody cause at that time I still had the benefit of a doubt for some of those freaks but he was actually serious lol.
Yeah but Avowed is not a franchise yet, so why are people calling for the game to be boycotted? It's not like Obsidian is taking a beloved franchise and adding things fans of the existing franchise dislike. Avowed is a new game they've created and apparently, unlike what you said, it's not fine. Concord was a new franchise. Torn to shreds. Apparently that wasn't fine either.
If he wants attention, he should keep doing Black Myth Wukong reaction videos because those uploads get clicks. Most of rest nada. Just dedicate the channel to being about Black Myth or the occasional GOW video. You can tell he's still milking the GOW fame because his most viewed uploads he calls that out in the thumbnail or description.
