No but seriously, I came back from Civil War (liked it), ordered some pizza, watched tv and wanted to rub one out before going to bed. Fire up a porn site, click on a link, opens a new window (mobile), I don't like it and go back, but it shows me an ad first. I search for the exact same words and there it is in the thumbnail. I was like, no fucking way. Analyzed the shit out of that, unless she has a twin which I never met...this must be her.

Who is to say how sizable Mera's role will be to serve as the seventh. Or what the threat and plot entails. With the strong hints at an extraterrestrial force, leaving the GL out of it is peculiar.
At the same time, even factoring how little we know, there's an idea of how many plots it will juggle. Maybe leaving GL is neater.

which is why it's a two parter. director's cut will be 4.5, while JL part 2 director's cut is another 4.5. all the standalone movies in between will be 2 hour XP grind montages as they gain levels for part 2
My dream pick as well.
Overrated maybe compared to the top cinematographers but better than any other superhero film out there. Nothing can touch it. They all look like tv show filter compared to BvS.

It's blurry because of terrible compression, but this is one of the most amazing shots I've ever seen in a superhero movie. I literally said "wow" in the theatre.
This scene in 300 has one of the most visually striking choreography and cinematography of all time. OF ALL TIME.
You almost felt bad for those Persians. Yeah, the blood looks fake as fuck, but it does give it a distinct comic book look which is what it's based on after all. 300 is in the top 5 comic book movies of all time. Fight me.

Well, the video was posted in 2013 iirc, just a year after we broke up AND the same year MoS was released. But seriously, I just can't stop laughing whenever I think about it. She was always adventurous but a porno? Guy must have paid her good (and agreed to hide her face as much as possible). I hope I never run into her again, it would be awkward and knowing myself I just can't resist and will ask her about it. So surreal. And what are the odds for me to find it. Ohh well.

I've never seen that cartoon, but the silliness of that Hal vs Darkseid GIF makes me wonder if the context is equally silly. Like, is that intentional slapstick? Is he comedic relief?

Yes. He's bassicaly "lol...lameasses, step back and see how it's done" before he gets stomped. It's done for comedic purposes. Overall Hal is hilarious asshole in that movie.
It was an Aquaman picture, it could be mean the Seven Seas.

Seriously. Edgar Wright wouldn't jump into a DCU project, with a script that has already ben developed, this late in the game. Especially when he's already well into production on Baby Driver.
Expect WB to give the gig to an up and coming director with one studio effort behind him or someone that has already directed a film for Warners in the last few years.
I seriously doubt that it's going to be son fan favourite director unless they intend to postpone the production (and thus miss the release date) for them.

I don't think getting a fan favorite director would effect the production schedule though. It's still so far away.

I'd probably have it in my top 5, though. Have to watch it again and see, it's been a while.
It's less than two years away (March 2018) and given that it, presumably, feature lots of VFX and set pieces they are going to have to get a move on.
I'd have thought that WB would want this shooting by the end of this year or at the beginning of next at the latest. This would leave them a far chunk of time for the post production and VFX work.
We could very well be in a situation where Warners does want to stick a name director into this and thus might have to postpone it and miss it's original release date.
Alternatively WB may not want to throw time and money at this without seeing how Wonder Woman fairs never mind Justice League at the end of 2017 and thus it could be postponed and miss its original release date anyway.
