Teddy Sears has that sort of 40s Golden Age look to him. He's not old man Jay like I would have preferred but he certainly appears to be an experienced speedster.

As far as Zoom is concerned... I'm kind of hoping they're doing someone new or something along the lines of Daniel West and just using the Zoom name. I can't see how Hunter Zolomon makes any sense, whereas it appears they're going to delve further into the West family this year.

Another possibility I could see is Reverse Flash somehow clinging to his existence as a ghost in the speed force, able to possess Speedsters across time and the multiverse. It would explain why they're loading up on speedsters this season.

Could also be a form of Black Flash:

I can see Daniel West based on that, but honestly, they could easily introduce a new member of the CCPD. Transferred over from Coast City (because lord knows they'll keep dropping that), huge fan of the Flash. Maybe even creeps on Iris due to her being the "Flash specialist," so to speak (although fuck another goddamned love triangle, but this could actually work well). Then have him get weird time powers by the halfway point and focus on his further antagonism from that point forward.

I really just hope that it won't be a repeat season in the sense, that somebody else is the Reverse Flash, of that he have a prominent role. I don't know who Zoom is, but apparently he is like Reverse Flash but faster? Which to me looks like a repeat. Hopefully they can make it exciting.

I forgot who Wally West is?

Wally West is the successor Flash to Barry, and the nephew of Iris West (though they obviously have to change that in the show).

Zoom is being used in this case to refer (assumedly) to Hunter Zolomon, who was not a speedster (beings that use the Speed Force, like Barry and Eobard), but he instead was displaced in time. He was basically traveling through time, and therefore operating on a whole new level. Whether or not they'll actually do it that way is another question. Technically Eobard was supposed to use Negative Speed Force, but they never touched on that within the show and instead just gave him red lightning. Not a big deal, but I'm just saying that I don't know if they'll give him the same power set as his comic counterpart.

Well, I've just watched the six first episodes of iZombie, and I liked it! I actually wasn't expecting nothing out of it. What's the consensus about the show?

iZombie is great, speaking of zombies...

I watched their panel before going to bed and had a dream I was at Comic Con in an Arrow costume at its panel and was allowed to ask a question and it lead to me raking Guggenheim over the coals for pandering to "Olicity" shippers and the Felicity fangirls and how it's ruining the show which lead to loud boos that transitioned into zombie growls, I shot a few that were coming after me but ran out of arrows and started running, for some reason at this point I lost my clothes, I don't remember much after that except I woke up after being cornered.

Good show. The shorter episode run means there's less cruft to work with, so it gets to the point quickly.

You should have known better. Zombies love Olicity.

What happened to that magazine that were coming out a week after the E3 trailer? I assume we didn't get any new information at all.

Thanks for this, made it more clear to me.

No problem. Comic stuff can be a bit fuzzy and that can hinder enjoyment for some. Most of the time it's harder to explain than it is to actually read, so I did the best I could.

The more I think about it, the more I realize Zoom, as is, doesn't really work with Barry. Barry has suffered a personal tragedy, which takes away Zoom's entire motivation.

Unless he does the aforementioned creeping on Iris. Maybe he kills Joe.

Then Barry and Jay have to tag team Zoom. Jay lends Barry his speed....

I wonder what Eobard will be doing this season. Tom has made it clear in recent interviews that his starting point is and will always be the reverse flash so we likely wont see too much normal Wells. On the other hand though he could be playing both characters. Maybe in Earth 1 he plays normal wells and in Earth 2 he's Eobard. Whatever the case may be He's made it clear he's on the show to be the reverse flash.

I dunno. Depends on how they deal with the whole time vortex thing. Maybe they pull a Flash Rebirth and have him end up inside the Speed Force somehow? Have him create the Negative Speed Force?

Nothing about Hunter Zolomon Zoom makes any sense. The motivation isn't there. The point behind Hunter choosing that identity was to be a callback to Barry's worst villain for Wally. Zoom's most famous scenes can't really be recreated yet - Linda's miscarriage and Barry + Wally vs Eobard + Hunter. He seems like the perfect villain to use after years of history or if Wally takes over. His entire creation was fueled by a sense of legacy. That's why I suspect it's someone more like Daniel West or Black Flash, seeing as two big themes going into the next season will be the multiverse and the West family.

Oh I agree. My logic in the way they could make him work would be a stretch, but they could do it.

Daniel West would be a better fit for it.

Just watched the Green Arrow Panel from Comic Con a little bit. People dont pay attention and asked a question that's been answered like literally before they start they QA.

I'm going with Eobard Thawne. Since Barry doesn't let the timeline be destroyed, some fragment of Thawne clings to existence, in the speed force. He exists across all realities that can access the Speed Force, and can possess speedsters. Cisco's Vibe powers will be instrumental in defeating him, by severing his bonds to hosts.

I'd buy this, though it sounds like Zoom is going to be someone else.

Since they mentioned Malcolm being back in the hood by episode 3, and Damien Dahrk was a rival for the position of Ras al Gul, could HIVE be taking control of the LoA this season?

That'd be my best bet. Either that, Nyssa takes control and Malcolm gets kicked out regardless, or the League ends up getting destroyed.

The thing is, HIVE was only a rival because of that particular Ra's. He went on to create his own organization, and thus has no reason to vie for that position any longer. So, unless Malcolm/Nyssa decides to go after him, there would be no reason for the rivalry anymore. Even then, let's say it's because of Nyssa, it would only matter because she was in control of the League. There'd be no reason that I can currently see that HIVE would destroy the whole League just because of one person.

Then again, an argument could be made for HIVE destroying the League to prevent anyone who would follow Ra's goals and ideals, thus making the League a constant threat to HIVE (or at the very least a persistent antagonist). Then again, Oliver did make the point that Ra's men were not loyal to him, but whomever holds the position of Ra's.
Darkseid is Cold's father?

It all makes sense...
I mean, Cold is the man who mastered absolute zero.

Just, y'know, not in this world.

This is the second time Michael Ironside is playing the father of a character played by Peyton List which I find kind of funny. List was Lucy Lane on Smallville for those who either don't know or forgot.

Or he just comes back to warn Oliver about something, like a revived Canary.

He might see it as an excellent chance to make a move now that the old Ra's is gone. It was the only guy that could stop him which gives him free reign now, he can either step on the foreground now and start up a bigger plot for which he needs to be in Starling or he could make a move on the LoA as you suggested. But then again, he can't do that before we get Sara back.

Ironside always getting that work. I'm sure he'll do a stellar job. They're continuing with the Rogue puns too.

If there's a time and place to bring in Constantine it's now, I'm holding out hope. Would be very weird to crossover a character from a cancelled show but if he became recurring that'd be cool. Adrian plz respond

We all sort of assumed and it's been vaguely confirmed, but straight from Ezra Miller's mouth: he's playing Barry Allen. And intends to race Grant Gustin.

“I think it’s awesome! And come on — we’re The Flash. It’s parallel universes. Grant Gustin is The Flash, and I’m The Flash, don’t you see? It’s the event horizon, we crossed it, baby. Grant and I are chillin’. We’re going to have a race. It’s gonna be dope. Like Jay Garrick and Barry Allen back in the day.”

Dude carries himself completely differently to Gustin so it could be interesting to see two very different takes on Barry.
whoever they cast as Wally is gonna have the most pressure though
