So using staff with my hero and got a combo that just doesn't seem to work. It follows same first two steps as another combo so it just launches into the original one. The new combo is the one that is supposed to launch an opponent in the air to juggle, that you press square, then hold square, then hold square, followed by 5 hits. Problem is when you do the first hold square it launches a different combo you first learn and the rest of the combo doesn't seem to ever work.

Hand blaster worked great for me. It has good ranged combos.

No that, combo works.

Its that kick right right? It looks like the original Tap 5 combo, but this kick is actually a launcher into a loop. Sometimes it doesn't look like it'll connect or continue to run up the hit counter, but trust in it - it does. Just gotta keep mashing.

Eventually, it'll turn into your bread and butter against bosses. Tap Hold Hold or basically the second two held button presses in any combos branch off into the three finishes which can then loop.

IIRC, this only applies to Euro accounts. NA PS Store lets you stack subscriptions so you can purchase the promo pack while your free trial is active. Hopefully they fix the Euro Stores before the promo runs out.

Also sounds like 3 new armor sets/styles being added to the game.

Man, the game really runs terribly when windowed, I've noticed. If I look down while gliding over the city when the game is windowed, I drop to about 25fps.

If I look down fullscreen, I remain at 60.

It's just so annoying, since the game more or less ceases function half the time if it ever loses focus when fullscreen (not to mention that it minimizes, which is never good for an MMO), and I like to switch out to read websites on my other monitor while waiting for queues and such.

And since the game MUST be run via the launcher, none of my programs that can force it into a "windowed maximized" mode (like most MMOs use) work.

you're so spoiled, the ps3 guys run at 30 and you're complaining about 25 when you can multitask w/ multiple windows and chat stuff open but yeah they need to optimize the pc version a bit more, especially the friggin slow menus and general UI.

Loved the game up to level 30. Then...there was a HUGE drop off in my interest.

It was an MMO that was like a single player game up to level 30. I loved it.

The multiplayer portion can be fun, but not fun enough for me to pay monthly (yet). See you guys in a few months.

I read the first issue (the only one out right now) and the first few pages are the end of the opening cinematic. It's definitely filling in the blanks of Luther going from A --> B. It's enjoyable if you're playing the game.

The controllers just sucked ass. Every time my power dipped I kept waiting for the power restoration glow from the controller and it would rarely come. I don't know if it was because we were too far away from them doing their own thing or if they were just not bothering with the power restoration powers, but it was a mess. I think Stig might have also been focusing too much on doing damage leaving the battery role all up to the other controller.

The secondary tank was also all over the place. It seemed like he had a hard time keeping aggro up on the adds and I was the first one they went after. We're gonna have to coordinate things a bit better when we try it out again.

Ok I loooove this game so far but the fucking acrobatics controls are the worst fucking controls I ever saw in a game. It wouldn't be that bad if it was only in the regular gameplay, but the RACES, the RACES! So fucking random.

Is it true that the raids reset every thursday?

Really want to give the batcave another go, didn't get any loot in the last run through so hopefully i'll get something this time.

Yesterdays glitches were shocking, as if no ingame chat wasn't bad enough 2 of my duos bugged so I got no marks and 2 bosses on the armory bugged as well, not a good night for DC universe on the whole.

Does this appear for everyone as a recommendation of how many points you should have in the stat, or they talking about as a group? Or does this stat change depending on what kind role your character has since dominance does nothing for many players.

as a troller i thought these were guidelines for trollers. i find they are generally quite low. for example i've been 300 almost since i hit 30 and it says for raids you should have 300 yet imo i'm not geared for raids yet
