what always happens. the fans.
"fans" are crawling out of the woodwork now talking about how they miss 80s and 90s DC but where were they back then? did they buy the issues? no. so they had to write more outlandish, more out there.

Tim needs to be on his own and barely in contact with the rest of the bat-family. Also Daniel West could be good with more work. Need some Jaime Reyes in my life.

Superboy Prime was a great character.

I'm not the one who chose the costume! I like the fact that Dick had this phase where he picked out this silly costume. It's cute.

I'm also probably not an "old" or "real" fan by most people's estimation. :(

Okay, that I can get behind. Dunno about Tim. It would be in character, though, especially with his New 52 "I was a Robin for about 5 minutes" history.

we're now the same type of people who were complaining about COIE when it happened. its all about cycles. I have nothing against Nu 52, some ten year old has to have his own memories to build on. one day one of us 80s kids will be in charge of DC and bring back Young Justice and PAD Aquaman and Morrison like JLA and white Wally West and Brown haired Lois Lane and Tim Drake drawn by Tom Grummet and Jean-Paul Valley. just you wait....

Edit: I am down for a renumbering but a lot of the DC books are solid, people just aren't interested like they used to be.

What's the problem with New 52?
There's a problem with Batman from Snyder?
As Bat family goes Batgirl is maybe the weakest as far as I can tell.
I mean I've read a grand total of 5-6 n52 books (Batman 1->3, Nightwing 1, Batgirl 1, Aquaman 1-2) and I don't get the problem.
I know I have very limited knowledge of DC but nothing seems to be nuke from orbit on the N52 like AllStar Batman&Robin from Miller.

Can someone explain?

Wanted to see if someone would make this or not.

I doubt it's going to be a full reboot, but if they did a merger of the Nu with the pre existing one I could see that happening. I mean we already got various characters from before that are running including Superman and Lois, Hal Jordan as Parallax and some others too I believe.

That said Dan Didio is awful and I'm sick and tired of Geoff Johns.

They already did that, that's why pre-Flashpoint Supes has a book and, like you said, Parallax Hal is kicking around. That's what Convergence was.

Old fans got upset that continuity was rebooted. Despite any good work from any of the books going forward they lashed out in vitriolic anger. It wasn't "their" DC anymore. Five years later these sort of posts will bring out lapsed readers who haven't picked up a DC book since the reboot to once again bear their righteous torch of indignation.

It happens literally every time without fail.

This could very well be the big event series that Snyder is doing at DC this year, that'll bridge into a reboot, I suppose.

I can't think of a better Batman writer than Snyder currently, so am hoping he stays where he belongs.

I just thought I'd drop by and say good job to the people in here who remember Orpheus. Cause he was the best.

Also War Games was an amazing arc because it showed off the core tenets of Batman:
Stephanie Brown is a goofus
Batman has backups on backups on backups of redundant plans
Gotham City is only ever six seconds away from an extinction event

So did Darkseid do what Mr. Miracle did? Because DS has those huge chubby fingers going on, it probably took him hours getting in there.

Worth it to have a dramatic reveal I guess.

Ah, makes sense.
I think that the new Teen Titans is to be avoided I think but I genuinely do not understand the problem outside of "they changed it now it sucks".
I mean even looking outside of comics there's multiple incarnations of super heroes so I don't really see how you can have a problem with Batman n52 not being like Batman Hush but have no problem with Burton Batman coexisting with Nolan Burton.

I mean... with Convergence, everything exists now, so I guess they merged it. If you meant like a wholesale sorta deal, then no, that's still not happened, and it probably won't.

If you're sticking to the Bat books and Aquaman, then you're reading the good New52 stuff.


Also, 2016 New52 has a better good to shit ratio than 2011 New52 did. They've been correcting a lot of stuff.
