Super fun episode, they're really realllly just not giving a fuck anymore at this point right? It's just a fun comedy show now. They didn't take themselves seriously before but it seems it's going further into that direction now. And I love it, it's great. Mick still the best.

I realized there's only six episodes left and that means we probably won't get another Legion focused episode.

I'd actually be totally fine if they carried over to the next season in some form. A villain team has so much potential and doesn't grow old as fast as a singular big bad.

Use the Spear of Destiny to toss them into the Multiverse. They land on Earth 38 and become the villains of Supergirl Season 3.

Damien gets a new magic thing and Livewire joins the team.

Especially because they are waiting so long to bring Captain Cold on board. Make the win for the season that they get Rip back but that the Legion still manages to bring back everyone to life.

For real though Supergirl would be massively improved if she could borrow just ONE member of the Legion.

The Spear would be a great way to merge the two earths anyway. During the fight against the Legion, Mick gets a hold of the spear and tries to "write in" Supergirl to help them... and accidentally merges the earths.

I totally dig evil Rip. He just fits so good into the Legion of Doom. God, feels like Barbara from Gotham all over again.

Seriously? You idiots haven't figured this out by now. It all started when we blew up the time pigs time masters. Now history's all screwed up and it's up to us to unscrew it up. But half the time we screw things up even worse. So don't call us heroes, we're something else. We're Legends.

Who writes this crap anyway?

That was the best part of the episode xD

Real talk here-

Why doesn't DC have a Legends of Tomorrow comic running?

I know, they had one for a while that was an anthology book, but I'm talking about an actual team book.

You have a unique name, a mission statement that is different from every other DC team, and a premise that lets you use any character you want. It even lets them use characters from their cancelled western and Arthurian books.

It doesn't even have to be the same team from the show. Just give the premise to a creative team, let them pick a half dozen heroes who maybe couldn't support a solo series, and let them loose to tell whatever weird time travel stories they want to.

This is kind of a premise that DC should be all over.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
I honestly think they weren't even explicitly trying to ship her with everyone. It's just that Amaya's actress has that pure, uncut CW-smolder.

Like, I'm sure we'd be saying the same thing if they paired her with Jughead from the hit CW series Riverdale, Thursdays at 9pm.

Amaya's actress is probably the best of the bunch. She was amazing on The Originals before she went on to Legends. Which is why I want more of her, and for her to stay on to a Season 3.

I want Amaya and Nate to stay on for Season 3. Both are great additions to the cast. And I agree with others that Rip is a better villain than leader.

Me too. Zero complaints with the current lineup. I adore Captain Sara, Nate & Amaya are great newbies, and I'm even into their budding romance. The latter especially is being sold so much more genuinely than The Hawks last season. The whole "destined to be together" stuff is such a copout, and then when the show tried mixing Ray into it..Yuck.

Yeah, the only real disappointment for me this year is that I don't really want anyone to leave. I like the cast and mix of abilities and personalities.

Whereas by this point last year I was fantasizing about enough people getting dropped to support Constantine and Swamp Thing coming on board.

Depending on what happens when Captain Cold joins the show, I could unfortunately see Mick leaving. The only thing that would soften that blow is if Wild Dog took his place.

Show is fantastic, cartoonish fun with hammy-as-fuck villains and ridiculous time travel shenanigans. I'm just loving this season right now.

Fun episode, but man it's getting harder and harder to let go of some of the character actions here. First off, why did Rip just leave Sara in the snow after shooting her and not just take her to make sure that the Legends wouldn't revive her on the ship? Secondly, why did Sara and Jax literally just let Rip walk away. You don't have to kill him to capture him. Just shoot him in the leg or something.

This is almost on the level of bad of The Flash where Barry and Wally cannot somehow find a villain who has escaped just before despite being able to run at lightspeed and search the perimeter in literally seconds.

Amaya is distractingly gorgeous. ❤😍

I laughed out loud when she lept off that cliff and made a seal noise.

I think they have to shake up the cast a bit. You don't need Nate and Ray together. Mick is underused as well. And they need to do something about Firestorm.

I think keep Nate, Sara, Jax, Vixen and bad Rip. Drop Ray, mick and Stein.

I agree they need to shake up the cast... but they need to add another "villain".

I doubt theyll ever drop Ray unless Brandon Routh wants to leave.

Why drop Ray when he got some of the best scenes when he is shrunk. They need to give us more of those scenes. And Mick is like the funniest guy on the show. It would lose charm if Mick were to leave. Both of those are very unique in the team and has something the others don't.

The major problem is it's an ensemble show featuring a few characters who probably would be better off having their own series. It's sort of lame the lengths the series will go not to use Forestorm and the Atom.

Firestorm and ATOM are expensive, while not big enough to lead a show on their own.

Supergirl, Flash, and Arrow all have episode descriptions for next week and the week after. Legends only has one for next week.

I get the feeling that something big is going down next week. Some major plot twist that they can't tease the episode after without spoiling.

or maybe flash is on a hiatus this week and Legends has it the week after

Legends is on hiatus this week, too. It would be weird to have them come back for one week and then go back on hiatus again.

To be fair, big could be as simple as this finally being the episode where Captain Cold joins the Legion of Doom, and the next episode could be focused on how much that has Mick fucked up.

There's no episode description because it's taking a break the week after. You're reading too much into it. Marketing and scheduling will do it's thing regardless of what the writers want. At most the writers can write around whatever the tentative schedule is a few months in advance, but that can change. Legends is just taking a week off, it's different from the other Arrowverse shows because there's less episodes. Trust me, the writers don't dictate when the show airs or what goes into press releases/commercials. They wish they did.

From March 7th onward there's no break until the finale on April 4th.

Put me down as really enjoying the show more now that it's embracing its goofy side, but also as confused as to why so many people like Nate. I mean, maybe I'm missing something but he's screamed "Poochie" to me from day one.

But hey, it's an ensemble show. There's someone for everyone, and the actor plays him well enough.

He grew on me. The character is just really excited to go on these adventures and he has a skill that contributes in a meaningful way. I'm still Meh on the Citizen Steel stuff but otherwise he's funny and bounces off the other characters well for me.

This is probably my favorite cast of the DC shows right now since I like everybody.

I suspect Nate's CGI is relatively cheap, compared to Firestorm and The Atom, so I think he'd be a lock for future seasons.

Stein is pretty played out now, though. I don't think the show would lose much without him.

He brings out the best in the rest of the cast. Ray and Nate as "The Nerd Herd" brings a ton of fun to the show. Compare him to Kendra, who brought out soapy garbage in her interactions with other Legends.

he's definitely getting replaced with Lily

Yup. I could see Stein sticking with Team Flash as a Wells replacement, though. Depending on what the deal is with
Ronnie
returning on Flash, we could see
Two Firestorms - Stein/Ronnie on Flash, Lily/Jax on Legends
