Stein why the fuck are you being mean to Mick. You know he was hallucinating. He's been asking you for help.

This episode is fun. And Arrow is going to hot streak it tomorrow too.

Makes sense Nate and Tolkien click.

The Legends played themselves but Mick will probably see the light.
The synopsis for the next episode implies as much.

Yeah funny thing is the legion could work for another season

You see it's a tough one. The thing about a good villain (or anything really), is you're left wanting more. The Legion could absolutely work for another season. They're fantastic, they've got a great dynamic, they have personal history with the heroes. There's more there to explore. But at the same time, if you double their presence from 17 episodes to 34, would that remain true by the end? Probably not. Tough to say.

Laurel was on cast list for tonight's episode, wasn't she?

The season finale.

Calling it now:
Mick is playing the Legion. Going to prove to everyone he's not an idiot. The Time Masters trained him well.

This is totally going to happen. Mick said he wanted things to change for him and that is what he will use to change himself and prove to everyone he is to be trusted and that he is clearly the smartest one of the group.

They have a time ship, they know where the blood of Christ is why did they tell themselves lets go during battle and not, you know, jump backwards 6 years and at midnight to get it.

Mick is likely playing the Legion like a damn fiddle, but he also gets to prove to the Legends that he isn't a fucking dumbass

Remember ladies and gents, this man was a space/time mercenary

Why did they even need to go to ww1 to talk to Tolkien in the first place? It's not like he would be be a hard guy to find at another time when things are more peaceful.

I guess it had to be after he wrote the paper but also at a time where it wouldn't be noticed that he was missing for a bit

What makes for a more fun episode? Tolkien or some random guy? Exactly.

It can still be Tolkien, it just seems dumb to take the extra risk of going to a world war 1 battlefield when they could easily find him after the war was over since they knew he would live thought it.

Then once they learn where the blood is located why the heck didn't they jump back a few years before world war 1 to get it instead of going to no man's land?

Then again how did the legion even know to go to World war 1 to go after the legends in the first place?

It would have made more sense if the legion killed Tolkien to create an aberration to deliberately lure the Legends to World war 1 as part of a trap so that they would be FORCED to go to the front lines to save Tolkien and fix history instead.

This is a bullshit excuse and you know it. Can't handwave shit like that just becausr you enjoyed the episode. I loved it tooi and can easily admit that going to WW1 is a hugely stupid decision.

Well obviously World war 1 is more fun, I'm just saying they could have written the episode better so that the good guys don't come across as incredibly stupid since they are taking on a crap ton of extra risk when they didn't really need to. Even just a quick line to justify why it had to be that exact time period would have gone a long way.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
Another really good episode. I love how they brought Tolkien in to assist them on a mission to destroy a powerful ancient artifact that tempts all those who come near it. If you're going to use historical figures, this is how you should use them.

They're getting better at these bigger battle scenes. I thought the WWI advance was well executed.
