I recognise maybe one or two, like Ayane's, because I own AquaPazza: Aquaplus Dream Match, but I have to say that I'm glad Kas' costume is what it is, like a casual outfit, because I doubt I'd get any otherwise. I might just pick up hers.

Some are quite nice tho, like Phase, Momiji and Christie. Honoka is still insane, and I wonder if there are any more like hers to come lol.

Core fighters is the same as disc version except it comes with only 4 characters and all the game modes except story mode. You are perfectly fine to buy Mai only.

I'm actually hoping that it would be teased at TGS 2017, announced properly at NEC 2017 with a playable build/demo (like how DOA5 had a demo at first) et the event, and then thanks to the feedback, sometime in 2018 on all platforms.

KOF pack only just came out recently, so I doubt that will go on sale soon.

But there is some sale going on atm. It's not much really. Mainly just Season Pass 3 for full game owners. Rest is aimed towards F2P players. Hopefully they do some more sales in the new year.

Can't wait. Just hope there's a bit more variety than what's on display, but it's Musou, so... But I will miss her Ninja Gaiden moveset. Be nice to switch if possible. I hope they go all in on costumes too. Some stuff from Phase 4 would be nice, but hopefully still her black ninja outfit, or even her white Ninja 2015 outfit.

Sometimes I launch DOA5 and play some arcade mode, and man, it's a really fun fighting game. Why does it have to be dead on PC? I pretty much never can play against anyone, I'm not motivated to actually become good Heck, I should have been hyped by Mai, but I saw no point in buying her since I'd just use her to beat arcade mode now and then. And no, I'm not buying a PS4 just to play this game online

If only it was cross platform, it really should be the norm nowadays. But honestly even if that's impossible, pretty much no other Steam fighter I play is so dead, I can find players in MKX and all the KOFs.

DoA GAF, it's been a while since I've played this game and I have been itching to get back in with the absence of 3D fighter in my rotation plus the fact that Tekken 7 still doesn't have a release date.

So I'd like your opinions/thoughts on whether playing stick is okay for this game? I used stick beforehand and I think I did okay with my C- Rachel. I know this is mostly a preference thing but does playing on pad host any execution advantages? I mostly play 2D fighters so I've been conditioned to use stick and would like some light shed on this.

I think this game is pretty popular as a pad-based fighter, but you do see some pros using stick. I'm not a stick person, but from what I gather, stick doesn't seem to offer any major advantages or disadvantages, so it really is just personal preference. Someone with more experience can probably correct me, but whatever works for you is fine, I think.
