Cleared all time attacks, cleared the whole Arcade. The only thing left is Survival mode and I won't bother with that shit.

Not at the minute sorry. Although they are pretty easy to come up with, so I could whip a few examples later.
The downside is that these set-ups are move specific, as in you will reach CB faster using certain moves - for instance, in the Eliot example I posted last page:
The 3k is what causes it to reach CB so early. But it's not even really a downside either, as the 3k is guaranteed in this situation.

When I beat Survival mode, I used to exploit Lisas body splash (7k, p) against the AI.
When the AI blocks the splash, the follow up was guaranteed (6p, k, qcfk/Critical Burst).
Very useful for beating Survival Mode IMO.

I havent seen this movie since the early 90's but I remember a hot stone in someone's hand, followed by a punch in the face.
I was a little suprized Baymans future-soldier look didnt return, though it did look a little goofy. Needs some guns or pouches or something.
It'd be cool if TN gave Bayman a 'Ghost' outfit (from MW2). So awesome!

There was a pre-patch gambling glitch IIRC.
Otherwise, just play volleyball. That was fun IMO.
Fuck I tried this and wasn't really paying attention and I lost all my money.

Without the patch, the casino is the be and end. You'll just have to learn to get it right. Just learn the sounds of the Roulette Game and you'll have more cash than you need ever.
After the patch depends on if you have a partner. Volleyball with one and the Marine Race without one.
Never.
However, Christie's Slot Machine is the only one you'll need to play just to earn the Secret Ticket for the Pole Dance. Hitomi + Skimpy Swimsuits + Virtual Pictorial = PURE BLISS!!!
I don't understand. DLC costumes need to be purchased in order to be used period.
The changes to costume unlocks in the patch refer to costumes already on the disc, not DLC. I still don't know what the hell they mean though.

When I was browsing this thread two days ago it sounded like they were releasing a patch that would allow you to unlock the DLC costumes for offline use only.
Not the DLC costumes, only in-game costumes (most of them).

Happened to me a few times, but you can make all the money back so fast it's not that big a deal. What's worse is that the game doesn't have a transferable save file and when I switched to a bigger harddrive I lost everything.
Sure, they did. Like an hour after the screens were posted and everyone started calling bullshit because they always do this.
Nice to know I'm not alone in terrible purchases. Bought it two years ago and I have only played it for about 10 minutes.

Nah, you can go back and do them whenever you want. I just think they're the only part of the game that tells you all the mechanics of the game.
For character specific moves you can go into practice mode and turn on character training from the pause menu and that'll take you through all of a character's moves.
I think those are the best ways to get a feel for the game.
Also, it's important to know that when you're getting beat up in a string of attacks and you can't block, you can still perform holds (counters) unless you get critical bursted upon. Story mode missions should teach you about all that crap.

Unless you screw up that hold/parry then you eat the full attack. :/

I've had trouble finding players since Day 1 (PS3 version).
It doesn't help that "can't join server" is common.
Got my 1000, so the online can die and I'll put some serious online time into DOA5 plus before that one dies as well.
