Side question irrelevant to the post I'm quoting but directed at YianGaruga: Will you bump whatever thread is active at the time when VideoGamesPlus is carrying the Asian version? I've been checking their site every couple of days since I don't have Twitter, but it's not up yet.

Same here, I love the DOA main series but it just dies out too fast. On ps4 it was a pain in the ass just finding games within a week of release. =\
I was on last night and got throwdown matches every 2-5 minutes and I checked the lobbies before I logged off at night (12:30 ET) and there were 7 lobbies filled with more than 2 in each. Is it other regions that the game is dead in? Maybe if I log on in the middle of the day when everyone is at work/school, but otherwise I have no issues finding games. I haven't tried playing ranked in awhile so I have no idea how populated that mode is.

Has any solid info on DLC plans been released? All I can remember is they said "no" to DLC characters (boo) but there's a giant assumption that there will be a shit ton of costume DLC like DOA5. I only ask because I just got a package from Play Asia today with a $5 coupon that expires before the game, so I was wondering if I should just invest on a 500hk PSN card in preparation or something like that.

I'm in this conundrum now, with a pre-order of the Japanese version already in place on amiami. It's going to be cheaper than Play-Asia, and also not in english, but I am not too worried about not understanding most of the text in this game.
I think I'm just going to stick with the JP version.
What's the best way to buy JP PSN cards, for the inevitable DLC?

I bought the JP version, pretty sure it'll be in English (like regular DOA before, or even DOAX2). Wouldn't make sense for them to put english in one version but not the other.
You can buy PSN cards more easily than HK ones. Nippon-yassan has the cheapest, and send the codes per mail I think.

I wanted to play ranked which never popped. Don't care for lobbies as I don't enjoy sitting there waiting for a turn, throwdowns pop every few minutes but thats horribly too long if you just want to play online.
Make a lobby and limit it to 2 people? I just don't buy the dead game, or that ranked was dead within a week of release.
