Does time advance on normal mode? I've been messing around in chapter 2 and I got a message saying 5 days remains!.

I thought time only runs out on nightmare?

Does anyone know where "You Break it We Fix it" is? I need to go there for a smartglass mission but I have no idea where it is.

It didn't add a waypoint in-game or anything either.

Level 50 isn't enough to get everything, but after you hit 50, you still keep accumulating PP and earning points; your level just doesn't go up. If you're willing to grind it out (I still haven't gone past chapter 4 because I felt like maxing my skills beforehand), you can max out everything.

Cool, I'm glad you still can get more skill points. Does level 50 get you close?

yeah but right now I need a chainsaw. Where can I find one? Just wander around looking? If it were DR1, for example, I'd look for HARDWARE STORE on the map or something.

My buddy and I just continued on, we ran into plenty of chainsaws. We just made sure to keep one and brought it back to the person that gave us the side mission.

I am SO happy this game's campaign is co-op!

I have a quick question I need some help with:

When I started the game and left the first garage (after the chubby chick starts to fix the TV), I got a phone call from the mystery dude talking about the strong boxes and how he would send me the codes once I had cleared the safe houses associated with each strong box. I played for about 5 more minutes then restarted the chapter, once I restarted I never got that same phone call and the safe house mission the guy had told me about where the strong box was located was not active anymore...... have I lost the ability to open the strong boxes now? All of the strong boxes are still locked, even the ones in front of the safe houses I have cleared. I just killed the second? boss, biker dude. Do I need to restart the hole game in order to have the mystery dude give me the strong box codes?

Seems like a glitch that may have happened from restarting chapter 0.....

I could be wrong but that may just be the smartglass stuff. If you were doing that, try loading it up again. I only remember getting those missions from the companion app.

Interesting, I was messing around with the companion app when I got that call.

I am just wondering when and how the lock boxes get unlocked..... seems like if the safehouse has been cleared they should be available.

Once you've done a bunch of missions for him, he'll unlock the boxes as well as stashes around the city.

Anyone know what the different endings are?

I got ending 'S', which sounds like it's good, but not sure what the criteria entailed.

Awesome, thanks for the info..... I will keep my current game active then and just try and do some more side missions to get those boxes open.

Man, all day longI think about playing this and when I get home, I just can't find the time to play for more than 20 - 30minutes at a time.

It's just depressing. I want to play more, I need to play more, but I just don't have the time...

So how does co-op work? When you join someones game you play as Dick... but does he have his own moves? Do you level him up and take that experience with you back to your game? How does it work guys? :D

Not sure about moves, but you do take back any progression to your own game. Also worth noting that any missions/chapters you complete with your friend will be completed in your own game when you return. So if you've just started, but finished chapter 2 with a friend, you'll have the option to skip chapter 2 in your own game...

So I'm guessing Dick has his own level up points to use as well and they just perhaps mirror Nicks when you move back to single player and take the states with you? Sound about right? I'm and with you here, haven't had alot of time to play this.

Some of those side missions,

Help a guy with his trailer, then make him blow himself and the trailer up to clear a path

Lure zombies into a studio so that a guy can make a zombie porn, and then he ask you if you want to join in - as the zombies are even cuffed and stuff

lol

LOL... but I thought this game wasn't funny lol.

Hail to the KING baby
Really fun game. There is so much content it's hilarious. I didn't even know there was such a thing as timed achievements until I checked my app. They need to tell people about these things! Only thing I wish is that there was a little better explanation or at least documentation on how to do stuff. Tutorials that tell you how to do stuff right in the middle of action are really tough. That's a really small issue though.

On the game's brightness, did anyone else have to crank it several notches up during the test? I'm wondering if it's my TV or just the game but I couldn't make out the image until I was a couple away from the brightest edge.

I've had to crank mine up a lot.

Also, I lost my first survivor! He didn't get out of our exploding car quite enough and then he couldn't fend off a few zombies.

Feels like he was made of paper or something.

be sure to not use full RGB, it should not require that high of a brightness setting, I am one above the middle. Maybe calbirate your tv with the settings feature that's in the settings of the system, very handy.

Just got my copy of DR3 today from Amazon. Buying an Xbone just to play this really, no system yet as I'm waiting for Amazon to restock since I get 3% back and no tax from Amazon. =[ Btw, wtf the disc is on the wrong side of the case!

Yeah I want to know the answer to this too. It's advancing for me also, what happens when it gets to the end of the 6 days on normal mode?? Do you get to do a restart+?

Well should we play this game in 720p or 1080p? Because the clear UI is only in 1080p. I also did some comparisons with the gamma:

I decided to go the extra mile of doing different gammas from 6 to 10:

maybe the capture device you run the signal through messes things up? no idea how you could solve this other than what I wrote. With the brightness that high you lose image quality as other stuff get's blown out, typical black crush problem - normally solved for not using full rgb and calibrating your tv.

But these shots are RGB Limited, though I think my capture card isn't the greatest, it's why I'm getting a new one soon.

Did a new comparison, this time with altered settings on my monitor and RGB Limited:

Now this game with those settings with gamma between 7-9:

have not found any ranged combo stuff yet, hope I do soon as the gun glove things where my favourite weapon in the demo I played.
Also ricochetguro since you have finished it - when you start over, is the stuff you already collected gone? Like the Frank statues and blueprints.

For people like me who played on Nightmare mode only, completing the last chapter via story mode chapter select will get you the Mega Man X costume.

I was on two slots of health and had to run through hordes of zombies during night time. I fought my way through it with a shitty axe and made it barely out of it after geting grabbed two times. Then Nick said "Let's not do this again" - I was awestruck because the game said what I thought. Also I laughed my ass off afterwards. I love this game.

I like that he actually kind of talks to himself. I put on an S&M outfit and he said something along the lines of, "Well, that didn't work out."

PAULINK

I microwave steaks.
Made a clip show of all the glitches I've encountered so far. Upload studio is so nice. BTW the last clip shows the gluttony character so spoiler alert if you care.

Getting farther in the story and I'm surprised that
They're actually tying together a lot of Dead Rising 1's plotpoints. It was pretty awesome to see Frank West and Chuck Greene statues in the museum. Oh and god damn does Isabella look different.
