Dear Kanye, please fall off of my face. Signed ... Some dude

Are you saying a scientologist can't be a nice guy? What the fuck?

Beck is a well known nice dude. His religion has nothing to do with that.
He was also born into it. His parents were both members, its not like he had a choice. He also never promoted it or even mentioned it. He's not in a position of power or leadership at all. This is way different than, say , Tom Cruise, who is like ranked #3 or something in the church

Man what if this is a stunt for a potential Beck/Ye collaboration which is well needed in 2015 by the way....

Kanye has an opinion on the award he expressed after the fact. Whether you agree or not doesn't particularly matter. The dude is entitled to it either way. The fact that you think he's doing the act for white people is weird though. Did Bey get snubbed, frankly I don't know nor do I give a shit, but it doesn't sound like Ye's about the circle jerk that goes on during the Grammy's and I'm alright with that.

This. I wish we had a Kanye equivalent for the Oscars.

You are taking this entertainment industry way too series, especially when it doesn't concern you in a real way. There are real assholes and criminals running around making the Lifes of everyone around them miserable....

Time to get real.

Are you saying a scientologist can't be a nice guy? What the fuck?

Beck is a well known nice dude. His religion has nothing to do with that.

i think him beeing a prominent figurehead of a cult that exploits people, brainwashes them and worse, gives me some grounds to attack his nice guy status.

oh, he's a big fan of Narconon. look it up.

He work in an industry where posturing in public and sucking dicks in private make you rich. And you think he's racist against wiggas? I'd have an easier time believing he's a lizard.

I didn't realize Mexico = Global music scene...

Hint: Global includes multiple countries not named Mexico or the US.
I put a french video with a french citizen asking who that person is. Trust me it's the same with most countries, he's big in the USA and has a super star status there, in other places not so much. I wish the "Korean girls react" would make a video about him.

He barely talks about his religion publicly (as it fucking should be with everyone), so I don't understand what you're talking about.

Kanye is a massive douche, but people take these award shows too seriously. They are never about art, but are one big self-contratulatory circle jerk reaffirming celebrity and the status quo. Also, I'm hesitant to consider Beyonce's album a piece of art. It's good, but it's still manufactured.

I don't think people take these shows too seriously. I think Kanye takes them too seriously. He has won 20 + Grammys and been nominated a shit ton. Yet he still acts like he is being shunned by the man. It's one thing for him to think Beyonce deserved it over Beck, quite another for him to call out Beck for not giving the award to Beyonce. Or for the association not recognizing true art that was the Beyonce album.

Acting like a child throwing temper tantrums should not be praised but people love his music so he gets a pass from most.

I too would love fr him to step up to someone intimidating accepting an award.

The real outrage he should have been having last night was the rap categories not even being televised like it's the 90s again. But no he was there as usual for himself and to promote his next project, especially when he tried to release Yeezus as a rebellious against the man project but then couldn't stand not being on tv.

He so wants to be all over the place that he once again made a award about himself.

Also he pretty much saved Jay's career with his work on The Blueprint and The Black Album.

Oh god not this again. Yes because the Blueprint and the Black Album Jay was irrelevant bordering on the unknown.

And you aren't a troll if you believe in the BS you spew.

Anyway, to get to my point. I honestly feel that Kanye is somewhat racist. These attention grabbing antics are always geared towards white people. His outburst are (except in his mind) clearly unacceptable and uncalled for... yet he continues to be supported by peers and press alike.

....

I just wish somebody in the industry would call this guy out as a racist, because some of the stuff he says clearly is. How can somebody have such blatent disregard for his fellow peers in the industry.

Clearly there is a racial undertone to his actions. I would love to see him snatch a microphone away from Kendrick Lamar or 50 cent.

Does anyone have a gif of him walking into that sign?

In my opinion, that is the greatest thing he has ever done. Unless he gets run over by a steam roller, he can't top that in my eyes.

Would him feuding with black people make you feel better, buddy?

Because, he has. I'm not sure where you're coming from with this racist thing.

While I'm slightly pessimistic about his next album every album up until this point has been good and in most cases exceptional.

The Earth NEEDS Yeezy.

I thought it was kind of cute when he rushed the stage then backed off. It was enough of a message, while at the same time allowing interpretation of it just being a joke.

What was really fucked up was the interview after the show on E. It's not like Iggy Azelia was up there getting the best album award. It's fucking Beck. Beck has been producing great albums for like, 20 fucking years if not longer. And Kanye is saying he's "not a real artist?" Fuck off.

I like Kanye's albums, quite a lot. But for fucks sake, what a disrespectful douchebag.

Lololol

Musically, the guy is a genius. No doubt about that.

But, damn i wish someone would just jack him in his rebuilt jaw.

Also he pretty much saved Jay's career with his work on The Blueprint and The Black Album.
you mean the blueprint that album full of just blaze and bink beats

you mean the black album that album with two kanye west beats, neither of which were the big hits on the album

You mean Jay-Z the rapper with his pick of any producer in the world, and arguably the best produced catalogue of any rapper?

lmao

The dude can make some great music. His first couple albums are damn good. My problem is that he lives for the publicity stunts.

Gotta do what you gotta do I guess.

All in all I think he probably an asshole

Love all the Kanye fan salt up in here.

Bullshit. If he weren't into the "circlejerk", he wouldn't go to it. Let's be real up in here, Kayne loves all the attention he gets from stunts like this. He knows saying what he said about Beck would get him some more press and he makes his living off of said press.

The guy can't do anything but take other peoples shit and make it his own. If one more person fucking says "Daft Punk's song was OK but Kanye took it to someplace that's far more awesome than the original", I'm going to fucking take their mother out to a nice seafood dinner then never call her again.

Also:

"I just know that the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us," he told E! "We ain't gonna play with them no more. And Beck needs to respect artistry and he should've given his award to Beyonce."

Oh noez, if Kanye stops playing with the grammys, what will the grammys ever do without him? Oh the tragedy. "Respect artistry" how about you respect artistry by not taking other peoples music and instead making your own? How's that for "artistry"?

Yeah, same here. I thought it was just a joke, but "Beck needs respect artistry and give his award to Beyoncé"? Get the fuck out of here. Seriously, that was such an assholish thing to say. When was the last time Kanye even produced or wrote something by his damn self?

He barely talks about his religion publicly (as it fucking should be with everyone), so I don't understand what you're talking about.

scientology is not a religion tho.
being a member of a creepy-ass scifi cult that engages in blackmail and bullying lawsuits is fair game as long as you don't talk about it that often?

he endorsed fucking Narconon..

I don't really understand the merit in these awards anymore.

How are the Grammys decided(the nominees and who wins)?

I didn't realize Mexico = Global music scene...

Hint: Global includes multiple countries not named Mexico or the US.

Actual global would imply he's a major part of every country's music scene and then the poster provided a counterexample with Mexico.

Folks fail to see that even during his College Dropout days Ye always been outspoken, especially during "Jesus Walks". Ye being a racist is laughable, he's just a huge Beyonce stan :/.

He hates white people so much he married one. What a vile creature. Also this OP sounds like one of those annoying comments you read on YouTube comments pages sounding all sanctimonious and shit. Bleh

Yeah, that's what I mean. Ye was pretty instrumental on Jay's albums.

Production on:
"Girls, Girls, Girls" (Remix) (Bonus Track)
"Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" (Jay-Z)
"Takeover" (Jay-Z)
"Heart of the City (Ain't No Love)" (Jay-Z)
"Never Change" (Jay-Z)
'03 Bonnie and Clyde" (Jay-Z featuring Beyoncé)
"Encore" Jay Z
"Lucifer" Jay-Z
"Run This Town" (Jay-Z featuring Rihanna & Kanye West)
"Niggas in Paris" (Jay-Z and Kanye West)

Some of those are different albums but most of them were the biggest hits from each album. He might have done less on Black Album than I realized though.

I hate Scientology as much as the next neckbeard, but seriously, give it a rest.

I have no problem with him being outspoken, but he's being straight up disrespectful to another artist. An artist who didn't do shit to him.
