Whats the hook for PPVs then? If we are getting long, good matches on TV, that's a huge selling point for a PPV gone right out the window. There are no "dream matches" left with the full timers anymore because

My working theory is that the Fan Council only consists of people that buy tons of shit on WWE Shop and are therefor the markiest of all the marks and the absolute worst people to poll on what the program should be.

Ric Flair once said the business only works when its built on trust. Trust that a guy isn't going to double cross you, accidentally on purpose you, or straight up attempt to kill you.

Right now there is no reason to trust anyone in that company running the show and if there was a wrestling promotion that had the same pay and schedule everyone except for Undertaker, Cena, Miz, Anoaʻi family members, and HHH is jumping ship.

Yeah well they are purposely harming their own product so whatever.

Big reason NXT gets the specials right is because they keep the really big, long, intense matches to the SPECIALS.
