You guys are so down on Rowan. Harper's a better wrestler, but Rowan is way creepier looking.

they'd probably just say it (Triple H also being in the match) was in the contracts and Cena/Orton's dumbasses didn't read them before they signed them.

I would love if bogus stipulations in contracts was used as an angle.
"We have footage of you signing this contract, wtf did you think the point was in signing it in front of millions of people if you weren't even gonna read the damn thing?"

Remember when Piper made the contract for his match vs Hogan at Starrcade 96, but didn't put the title on the line?

18-49 Male demographic is still the king of television, but I believe that live event and merch sales skew younger. I don't actually know if there is a breakdown of PPV audience by demographic but I'd imagine it's older as well.

But it is being sold as a PG product. Not even saying they have to go PG13. They cater to families and the little Cena marks. There was an interview with Cena and Sam Roberts where Cena basically says screw anyone 30 years old

What about when DDP could get anything he wanted from Ric Flair and all he asked for was a tag title shot? Or when Low Ki won NXT2 and could have a title shot at any belt in the company and he picked the IC Championship?

Cameron is such an annoying human. Vinnie can do so much better. She's bitchy, angry, crazy, won't have sex with him, is need, is spoiled, and says the dumbest shit.com. Nattie "I feel like" Neidhart Wilson is even worse.

Its PG with an edge right now. Before the Punk promo it was pure PG but its different now. Can you give examples of them doing it?

Also, Cena is a focus but he screen time is down now. On a 3 hour show he got the ending segment and an interview. Daniel Bryan and Punk have more screen time then him now these days.

I don't see the problem is catering to families and Cena fans. The major problem is just booking and creative.

There's an amazing match at the end of the New Generation Era/the start of the Attitude Era with Taka and Justin Hawk Bradshaw versus Kaientai.

I don't disagree at all.

I can't really go back that far as I'm just back into WWE this past year after being out of it for a while. Lurking the old PPV topics in OT waiting to be validated is actually what got me back into wrestling. First PPV back was Rumble this year. I'll say from the Raw after Mania to SummerSlam was the best I saw all year.

Anyone keep up with NXT? Is it any good?

Absolutely. It's short, only an hour episode a week, but it's a straightforward, old school wrestling show (with WWE production values in an indie sized arena), with angles, gimmicks, characters, protected championships and logical booking, all with an emphasis on matches

Plus, you get stuff like this:

Excuse my ignorance, but Ithil, what do you mean by protected championships?

The champions rarely lose, and guys have to go through number one contenderships to get a shot. All the reigns so far have been lengthy (save for one of the tag title reigns which was average length), and they're all treated as the top of their division.

I saw it. It was indeed terrible. There was a super awkward rape scene with Kurt's O face and everything.

They Live is awesome and I just watched it again pretty recently. I saw Santa Slay, which was surprisingly well made. It feels like a real movie, made by people who make real movies. Not the kind of stuff that Kurt Angle has starred in.

I'm going to do Ready To Rumble soon, I just don't know how I want to format the review.

I was mostly kidding about wrestler movies. I was going to suggest XPW, but it looks like somebody on LEGITSHOOK.COM already took it upon themselves.

Ready To Rumble has to be one of those shitty movies thats on every video stream service right?

I should watch that again. Its dumb but I would like to know if its dumber then WCW at the time.

Wrestlemaniac is a great wrestling movie.

The plot.
While driving a van through Mexico looking for a location for shooting a low-budget porn movie, Alphonse, Steve, Dallas, Debbie, the alcoholic Daisy and the pothead Jimbo get lost and meet a stranger in a remote gas station run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. The man gives the directions for the nearest gas station, and advises the group to avoid the ghost town La Sangre de Dios. Steve recalls the Mexican legend about the best Mexican wrestler, El Mascarado, who became crazy and started killing his opponents, and was sent to this town later. The director Alphonse decides to trespass the gate of La Sangre de Dios and shoot the film in the local bar. Soon the group discovers that Mexican legends sometimes are true.

I enjoyed it more than anything with a bald man in red at least.

Dumber than WCW normally? I don't believe so. I consider it to be the best episodes of WCW Nitro ever done from a story line perspective and booking.
