'Remember the Fallen' lamps are appearing on the map as part of the new Episode stuff. Lots of data recorders to find as well.

I still haven't gotten some of my unlocks from the ark codes; i.e. titles.

Has this happened to anyone else?

That reminds me to check on the code on the back of the manual that you have to link as well...when I entered the code, the download never really started,I waited a good 5 minutes on the 360 and backed out...I got something but I think it was the rewards for the bad few launch days they had...I will check my download history later.

Yeah..i agree with some of the Jank concerns, yet fun factor of the Angry Joe review.. but the misinformation he spouts is sad on so many levels, some of the stuff is admittedly hard to find, but its actually there, the game doesn't do itself any favor, but that review did it even less by being wrong about some important things.

So where are some of the cool things I can get early on?

Some cool armour from some missions or something?

I'm wondering this myself, I am also wondering how to mod my weapons, im asking for the xbox version if anyone knows how to upgrade weapons and stuff...just started myself.

Yeah, I'm still wondering if there is any way to get cosmetic clothing without having to spend money on Bits. I'm pretty far into it and so far I've only gotten extra clothing as rewards for some story missions. There is also a vendor at the beginning of the game where you can buy headgear.

Outfits all either come from main mission rewards or pursuit rewards.

Pursuits that show as giving a hat actually give outfits as well.

I can't find anything to do with the episode pursuits outside of the lamps. There the hell are these recorders or the missions to help people?

Haven't found anything outside of the lamps either..I haven't been booted out of the server for 2 days, looks like they've stabilized things!

It looks like they added some restrictions to swimming, which is kinda weird considering that one of the perks involve swimming a 1000 meters or something.
Basically, you now have "fatigue" of some sorts while swimming, and if you go too long without touching ground (doesn't help if you just jump up and down) you'll get transfered to a binding point.

Assuming you've already linked your account, check in the Defiance Store tab in the menu and look for a Claim Items option or something like that. The unlocks should be in there.

Man, I hope those cool robot/alien/cyborg dudes from the pilot end up in the game. Would love to fight one of those huge mechs.

How does the 360 version look compared to PC?

It's not a looker thats for sure and it looks way better if you have a PC to run the game in 1080p,obviously,but what is worst for me so far is that any of the big Arkfall fights turn into a slideshow if there is more then 20 other people fighting the damn things...most of my friends playing are on the 360 so I went with that...it runs ok for everything else besides what I mentionned.

I was playing Defiance last night while watching Defiance. This is truly the next-gen gaming experience I was promised by The Wizard.

Been like that since before. Have had it happen and I haven't played since the 12th.

Clan (guilds) functionality is pretty weak overall, but at the moment it looks like most gaffers are on PC.

I think the only way for it to survive would be to try to do some crossplay with the pc version

If next-gen is more open towards crossplay (Xbox360 is not, there's no way for them to implement cross play with current gen) then it would be quite beneficial to create two next-gen ports with enhanced visuals (that are implemented on PC-side as well) that connect to the PC-universe.

Well they said they had it working, Microsoft and Sony just wouldn't let them. It was them objecting rather than for any technical reason.

Which makes it even worse.
I guess it's unlikely for them to change the tune next-gen.
Though Sony has been pretty forward thinking so far with the PS4 announcements.

Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
They already had cross-play with Shadowrun.

Still curious about this game. Any 360 players have any thoughts on the 360 online community? My biggest problem I have right now is non of my friends have this game.

They showcased higher graphics in the pre-release materials, so it is possible they'll crank up the graphics in the form of optimizations and unlocking certain graphic options (like view distance and particle effects).

Seems busy enough and places like the Iron Demon Ranch are normally quite populated as are the majority of arkfalls.

Not many people seem to type or communicate but that might be because it's a little bit tedious without a chatpad.

Anyone playing this on PS3?
I can't play the game because the controller deadzone is too small./not existant
First controller, my character slowly walks forward, second controller my character slowly moves left.
Never had this problem before.

Oh and also can't play for more than 10 minutes because of server disconnects.

So far pretty underwhelming start :/

Yikes, making me seriously reconsider picking it up. I was going to pick this up on PS3.

Douchebag. Yes, me.
Probably has been asked, but-

If I'm in the US and don't have cable, is there any way to watch the show?

Curious to see what people thought of the show. I was almost turned off immediately seeing the 1990s level of bad cg in the very beginning with the jeep but ended up really enjoying the show.

It actually sparked enough interest in me going back to the game last night.

I actually just got the game and was playing it a little before i watched the show bc i guess it was supposed to segway into the show, but other than Nolan and Arisa being on the strato carrier with you in the game dont know how it was supposed to segway. But the show was pretty good, i think they definitely need improvement on their CG it was pretty freaking terrible. When he was chasing that guy in the car and then th car blew up that was freaking absolutely horrible graphics imo lol. But towards the end it did get better and definitely got me interested in the show ^_^

I thought it was okay. I'm only going to watch it because I'm so into the game. Almost everything on that channel that uses CGI looks terrible and I've come to think of it as their look. So when I see poor CGI I call it the SyFy look, haha.

Sounds like the weapons you have don't have mod slots. Or maybe you don't have enough salvage to pay for the process. If it doesn't have slots you have have them added on to a weapon in that same menu.
